Drinks took too long to arrive, food was too salty. Good ambience though and lovely view.

Great place to go but the music was far too loud. It was not easy to hear friends speaking around the table even in the dining area.

We've been wanting to try here for a long time. Was a great afternoon with excellent food, wines, views, and service. The service was effortless, and nothing was too much trouble. Our glasses were never empty, plates cleared in a timely manner. Although this was a visit for a friend's birthday we hadn't actually mentioned it, however they notice the small details and the gift in a bag we placed in the cloakroom, prompting them to acknowledge our friends birthday at the end of the meal. Not once did we feel rushed and was able to take our time and enjoy everything 20 stories has to offer along with great company.

Menu isn't very good for pescararian/vegetarians. The terrace menu does have better options than the main menu but aparantly it's completely impossible to order off the terrace menu if your sitting inside. I ordered the scallops which weren't cooked properly and when I told the waiter he just laughed. I ended up having salad and chips.

Not impressed with the service, reminded that we had to leave the table with 15 mins to go, still finishing drinks, we had bought a bottle of champagne and had a glass each left (and luckily we had only ordered 2 courses from a 3 course men) so we asked if there was anywhere we could go to finish them. The waiter very bluntly said he didn't know, we could try the bar or terrace, we asked if he could check for us and we were given a no uncertain No. At the time our 1.5 hours were up, a person I assume to be the floor manager came over to us, bent low and said he needed the table back now in a very unfriendly abrupt manner. Again we asked where we could go to finish our drink he gave the same answer as the waiter again in an unfriendly manner. We have had the same situation in The Ivy and The Blackfriers and on both occasions when the table was needed back, we were simply escorted to the bar by the restaurant staff. We explained this to him and said this is all we ask, and reluctantly he went and checked the Terrace and confirmed we could have a table out there. The table incidentally faced the restaurant table we had occupied and an hour after we had been asked to leave....the same table was still unoccupied ! The floor manager walked past, so I asked for a word and pointed out that the table was still free and they could have let us finish our drink nicely to which he said there had been 2 couples who had been seated at the table but both decided to leave without ordering anything! I watched that table for the full hour and didn't see anyone there. A restaurant such as this should be able to liaise with guests in a much more helpful, friendly way rather than treating us like an unwanted visitor. I also wonder why chefs make vegetarian meals without any substance, the vegetarian meal on offer was a butternut squash 'steak' with lentils...why can't they come up with dishes with a bit more substance? A very disappointing experience considering the cost.

Really nice roast, good portion and very tasty, the roast is very good value, drinks a little pricey but you get the view, service very good, will definately return.

Fabulous roof top terrace with a great vibe . Drinks a little pricey but worth it for the fantastic views of the city . Great service from friendly , approachable staff who were not too ‘ over the top ‘ or invasive . The food was superb . Again , a little pricey but this was a special anniversary meal with my hubby ,add we were given a complimentary very small, but delicious little cake to accompany our dessert . Alas our budget does not allow us to visit 20 Stories on a regular basis , but we loved every minute of our dining experience and will certainly return .

Our experience of dining was exactly that, a great experience. This was our first time here, but it certainly won’t be our last. From the moment we stepped through the entrance we felt really looked after and very spoilt. The ambiance was warm and friendly with just the right amount of hustle and bustle. The food was delicious, and not one of our party of seven had any complaints. Our waiter was amazing, Rachid made our occasion for us, o thing was too much trouble, and he made all of us feel relaxed. He helped give us a memorable outing. We shall return Lynne

Beautiful food, very well presented and delicious. Service was very good, all staff were super friendly and accommodating and made us feel special for our anniversary.
