Award-winning, refined seasonal cuisine created by Chef Elsa Jorgensen is inspired by the diverse and fresh regional offerings. Using as many New York State products as possible to create a thoughtful and delicious culinary experience. Our primary 4 course seasonal Chef's Menu is paired perfectly with the many Finger Lakes and Old World wines from our Wine Spectator award-winning wine and beverage list.

    Gorgeous views from the outside patio. The entire staff was extremely professional, accommodating, friendly and personable. Kelsey, Sabrina, Kati, Lidia, Bell and Rhonda are all exceptional. They made us feel so comfortable and welcomed — genuinely happy that we were there. I had the Pasta Bolognese twice. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Russ and Marie from Michigan (the Starbucks card people)

    The Pasta dish was not as delicious as I remember. Also missed the Seafood Chowder that’s been a staple for years!! Didn’t care that the menu is Pri x fix @ $75.00 The ambience & al fresco dining was lovely.

    we had family in from Ireland and went for brunch. Everything was perfect. Outstand waitress Sabrina and delicious food.

    We enjoyed our meal. The food was exceptionally well prepared. The sirloin and lamb were made to our requests. The service was perfect. A shout-out to Katie, our server (whose name we thought was Amanda??). Katie was very sweet and has amazing customer care skills. The entire staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend visiting 1833.

    Chef’s tasting menu was interesting and delicious ! Our server Kati was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. She enhanced our dining experience with her attention to detail and suggestions.

    You can't go wrong eating at the 1833 Kitchen and Bar at the Aurora Inn. Food was fantastic. The Finger Lakes wine pairings were right on point. We had a large group where some had tastings while others single entrees or apps. The staff managed the group perfectly. The value for our food was perfect. Drink and menu options for all. They paid particular attention to the allergies in the group. We really appreciated this. Thank you for making our last meal together in Aurora one to remember. Thank you.

    Superb service! 5 of us tried much of what was on the menu for the evening. The starters were all excellent, and were actually the highlight of the three courses. For entrées, the halibut was slightly overcooked for my taste, but most people would prefer how it was cooke. The sauce with the halibut was wonderful. The lamb was of excellent quality and cooked to the right temperature, but the outside needed more salt and spices before roasting. The desserts were okay--nothing impressive.
