We went to 1606 for my birthday and had never been there before. Service was outstanding and the food was amazing. You also cannot beat the views that this place offers. Overall we had a fantastic time and will definitely be going back!

Solid option. Not quite as good as I had hoped. Received the completely wrong entree from what I ordered...shame on me for not speaking up, but didn't want to wait for it. What I ended up with was pretty average. Drinks, apps, etc. were very good. Entrees ok. Service was good except when we first arrived they only had one menu for our table of four...which was a bit odd.

We greatly enjoyed the food, ambience and service. I had the New England Baked Haddock Casserole and my wife had the Roasted Chicken. Both were extremely tasty. Our server, AC, was working both the bar and our table but gave us entertaining service at the relaxed pace we were looking for. Our table had a great view of the ocean and it’s a fun people watching place. Skip the bread and Old Fashion cocktails, both were good but not outstanding. The 1/2 bottle of the Rose wine was just the right amount to accompany our meals. Valet parking is mandatory but an appreciated convenience. Highly recommended for a fun dining experience.

1606 hit all the right notes. The ambience and decor were understated, elegant and welcoming, the harbor views were magnificent and the food was fresh, delicious and expertly prepared. We would highly recommend to others!

Beautiful restaurant, elegant ambiance and cozy too. The food is outstanding, the lobster bisque is delicious and perfectly seasoned. Then we had oysters, what a treat! Perfect meal!

The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The placement of the oyster bar in the middle of the dining room is the only drawback. An extremely loud bartender encouraging the oyster bar patrons to get louder and louder distracted from the beautiful experience.

It was a great experience. The server was attentive. It was loud music in the beginning but I do believe it was from all the other tables being so loud. It was a nice ambiance as soon as the large parties left as the music was turned down and we could hear each other speak. The lighting once the in set was a little dark. But the ocean views were spectacular.
