Brought friends for our second visit. Reservation was ready when we arrived as was the patio seating we requested. The host went over and above making sure the temperature was good for us, and if not, they offered immediately to turn on the misters and/or bring over a fan, or move us inside. Water was brought immediately to everyone and our waiter, Cesar, arrived for cocktail orders. He had a great personality and made us feel very welcome. Drinks came out quickly and we all commented on the rarely seen size of the cocktails. We eat out often, and you rarely see full portion drinks or drinks without the huge single ice cube that creates very little actual drink. Refreshing like drinks used to be served. Cesar answered questions quickly and knowledgeably. He shared info about your other restaurants we were familiar with. He also made suggestions when a couple of us couldn't decide between several items for our entrees. Food was served correctly and pretty quickly after ordering. We were all pleased with our selections, though the beef stroganoff's meat was too fatty for my tastes and I wouldn't order again. Cesar was back several times to both check on our progress and to pour refills on our selected wine. We were most impressed with our entire dining experience and will definitely recommend to others and return again. I have over 40 years in the restaurant business, having worked different positions with different types of dining. I was vice president and general manger for one of the largest and busiest restaurants on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco for over 15 years. I have also been a partner in an upscale restaurant in the Bay Area. As a matter of habit, I go out of my way, when dining out, to find fault. I also give credit, when credit is due, to the owners/managers when a place is so well run that I leave impressed. Great employee service, and resulting satisfied customers, comes from the top. You definitely experience it here.

Because of the design of the restaurant, especially the uncarpeted floor, the place is extremely noisy and we can't hear each other without shouting. The chicken-under-a-brick was a bit dry, but otherwise quite tasty. Camille is a sensational server: funny, friendly, and extremely attentive.

The server was great! The food was very good too! Nice menu choices! Will definitely be back. We had the crab cobb salad, the fish n chips, the beef stroganoff & onion rings. All delish!!

The pasta dishes are very good. After many burgers, crab cob salads and fish & chips (the staples), we took a chance on something new. We were pleasantly surprised by the carbonara and the stroganoff.

We just love this place! Our service was great. Curtis was terrific, he went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable. All and all, a lovely birthday celebration dinner.
