The cocktail we ordered (mezcal with pineapple juice and some other ingredients) were poorly made. You did not taste the mezcal and it tasted very watery and strange. The garlic bread was just a warmed, dry loaf of tasteless bread and the crostini were underwhelming. They have fire pit tables across the way from the actual restaurant so the vibe is very odd. No music in this area or anything. Our fire pit barely lit. The interior was nicely decorated but sadly, I will not go back.

We went for a weekday happy hour, loved our drinks and the gorgonzola pinsa was heaven! Great service, good music, and cute outdoor patio area. We’ll be back for sure.

Great spot to dine in with friends or a date. Live music entertainment was a plus. This restaurant is on the shopping strip, so it’s better to arrive early (parking).

I just really think the food is overpriced for very small portions. For me this place is cool to go have drinks and hang at the bar.

Very loud for brunch as they have a live DJ. Our server “Candy” was amazing. I initially sat at the bar and the bartender was horrible. He didn’t say hi, just dropped a menu in front of me then proceeded to have a 15 minute conversation with the people next to me without taking my order. Food was okay. Doubt I’ll be back.

Went for dinner with a group of 8. Super easy to set up, lots of availability. Food was so good! We all ordered crostinis (deal was too good to pass up). Hand-made pasta dishes are a must! The music level was way too loud, between the live music and the loud background music while the musicians were taking a break, hard to have conversations and hang out with your group. Overall good experience.

Overall pretty decent. Second time I’ve had brunch here and the food is pretty good. Just had one gripe, breakfast burrito, although tasty, was a bit small. Last time Gregson was there, he got the breakfast burrito and couldn’t even finish it was so big, took the rest home. Also, I was trying to decide between burrito or pancakes. The waiter said “how hungry are you?” And I said “very” and he said “go with the burrito then.” Kyle got the pancakes, I got the burrito, and the pancakes portion was MUCH bigger. So, in conclusion, good food, but the burrito portion was too small for the price. Didn’t fill us up.

I came here for my 22nd birthday and I had a great time. Party of 7, seated in a reasonable amount of time after being late for the res, there were wonderful singers who sang me a happy birthday song, the gnocchi and lasagna was very good, the waiter was very polite and on top of things, the facilities and main area were clean. Overall I had a great time! I would for sure come again. Review from: a person who came to this restaurant for the first time <3

Me and a couple of friends came by 1212 Santa Monica for a bite to eat after an Art fair. It was listed as New American but seemed more of an Italian restaurant. A fusion I would say. The ambience was nice and they had a live band which was a nice surprise. They were a bit slow with staff that night but understandable it took a lil more time to get to us at moments, my thought was because we were upstairs? Either way after we met our waiter he was very attentive. I will say however the food was a bit underwhelming. Would not recommend if you are looking for Italian (if you been to Italy you will understand) I say they could really season their food a bit more and work on cooking their noodles better as well. In all it’s not a bad spot. In all if you’re looking for a chill atmosphere and great live music definitely check them out!

Love the Brussels sprouts and Parmesan fries!! Can't beat the $8 happy hour cocktails either. Ambience is great - indoors and outside. Only complaint - the smell of very pungent cleaning fluid throughout our section of the restaurant.

Host at the front was rude and not welcoming. She gave me a hard time about my party not being there on time and the percentage of my party being there to be sat down? Kept changing what she said about checking in every time I told her my party was there. Would probably not come back.

I wish I could rate it an overall zero we waited to be sat for our reservation an extra 40 minutes and then the food took another 45 minutes to come out after ordering. The only pleasant part of the experience was our mans who brought us a serving platter of sauces and condiments, shoutout to our guy.
