Built right on the bank of the Guadalupe River, 1011 Bistro offers the most spectacular view in Kerrville. You will find something in our menu for a special occasion, family gathering, or just kick back with friends and a bottle of wine on our open terrace.

Our menu features some French and American specialties, as well as some Italian classics, with a touch of Texas. Appetizers include our famous Mussels in broth, baked Crab Cakes and crispy Calamari. You can also find salads, pasta dishes, steaks and fish. Did we mention all our desserts are homemade?

Our extensive wine list has something for everyone… California Cabernets and Zinfnadels, Italian Chiantis and Pinot Grigios, Malbecs from Argentina, and Australian Shiraz. Our menu is definitely wine-friendly.

We have eaten at Bistro 1011 many times. I love delicious food and they have never failed. The view is amazing and staff very polite!

1011 Bistro was fine but not fantastic. Service was okay, but typical of many restaurants that don't focus on front of house training. We arrived early (45 m) and said we would be happy to wait and enjoy the view until our table was ready if they could not seat us - no rush on our part. The host said that while they didn't have a bar, we could order drinks and wait, but that he would see if we could be sat early. We were consequently sat early, fine. The restaurant was busy but to me, if you can seat me, it means you are ready to serve me. We then waited several minutes for anyone to approach the table. No water, no bread, no greeting. So long that my internal clock went off and I started to look around. After a few more minutes the server (1 of three working dining) did stop by and introduce himself and let us know he would be with us shortly. IMO the host, who was not busy should have brought silverware, water and bread and then let us know that our server would be with us shortly. They should have also offered to take our drink order. This small change would have made all the difference. My long-stated belief is that I'd rather have mediocre food and great service than the opposite. The food here was good but not fabulous. I had the Chilean Sea Bass, and my wife had the Ancho-Coffee Rubbed Pork Tenderloin. Both were nice presentations, but the pork was very good. Our server was not very attentive even though he was not "covered up" with tables. Small thing, but when delivering mains, he could not remember who ordered which entree. For a table of 2? To be fair, he was pleasant, but just not properly trained. This restaurant could be a gem if they brought up their service level. Great location, ambience and good food. No reason why they can't tighten up their service game, it is one thing that can set you apart from other establishments. Would I recommend 1011 Bistro, yes. Do I hope they improve their table service? Yes also.

Exquisite dishes and attentive service. We enjoyed the beauty of the Guadalupe river adorned by a picture perfect sunset. Never rushed; service delivered on cue and with a smile.
