In the trendy Yaletown district where Davie Street meets False Creek, Provence Marinaside is a great place to meet your friends on the patio or at our bar. Watch the action in the marina or on the seawall.
Provence Marinaside's award-winning food, warm ambiance, and friendly service turns every meal into a special occasion. Fresh local seafood; raw oyster bar; extensive wine list; takeout; gourmet picnic basket.
Dinner is served seven nights a week. Breakfast and lunch served Monday to Friday. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday. Afternoon Tea available by reservation.
A visit to Provence transports you to the South of France without the jetlag.

We had a very enjoyable meal. Ambience is a bit casual Food was excellent. Service was prompt and courteous. There was some loud bar noise from an individual patron. Decorum is a little stark, modern but comfortable. We were looking over the waterfront and marina. In all a very pleasant experience.

We chose an early time slot so that we could easily complete the rest of our evening. The food was fantastic. We started with the crab and shrimp cakes, followed by the wild mushroom ravioli with prawns, and the plateau de fruits de mer which we shared. The server was attentive and friendly, as it should be. The wine list is extensive and has some of the rarer wines. The two piece jazz group was fun and added to the evening. We will certainly return to Provence.

Provence is consistently excellent. We have been dining here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. The dover sole is delicious and worth a repeat.

Great food and great service by the wait staff, food was fantastic and the experience was great at our table. Can’t say enough about how amazing our server was. Management staff there was on the aloof and presumptuous side. We were in town for a country festival and the Jean jacket attire appeared it might have been underwhelming for them.

Service was too quick and a bit impersonal. Plates were removed while other people were still eating. Would expect a different level of service at this kind of restaurant. Halibut was tasty but under seasoned and the quinoa mushy and no flavor. The saffron fennel were fantastic. All plates looked very sparse with lots of plate showing. Overall was good.

Visited Vancouver for my birthday weekend with one of my friends. We decided on this restaurant as I am French American and love seafood. We were there for about 3 hours and everything was fantastic; the service, food, and ambiance. Our server was an older Englishman who picked us the best white wine. It was probably one of the best meals that I had so far. Would go back if I go to Vancouver again.

Marcel was our server at Provence and he was excellent. Sat on the enclosed patio in the corner. Very comfy seats, great cushions, lots of warmth from the heater. We enjoyed the very tasty, delicious mushroom raviolli along with the warmed half baguette and meatballs. Sipped on a bottle of cab sav from Rust Vineyard in the Osoyoos area. Can’t wait to repeat this experience!

We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were treated very well. They brought us champagne right away. It was very nice but with my wife being a non drinker it would of been better if they had asked us first.The appetizers were outstanding I had the crab cakes and my wife had the grilled avacado shrimp which was outstanding . For our mains my wife had her favorite seafood pasta spagatinni and I had the daily special halibut in a pesto creame sauce. Coffee and desert topped off a great evening. Service was fantastic our waters were filled up all night and plates were taken away promptly. We will definitely be coming back.

Seafood Linguini had over cooked sea food, pre cooked maybe ? especially the tuna, roasted garlic was under cooked ?? Not the best I have had at this location they can do better, my guest’s meals were ok, not the best seafood, but in the end the service was good and it’s a great location. Sorry at this time I would not recommend to my out of town guests or friends.

We found this gem on Open Table hoping to have a nice dinner on the last night of our vacation. We could not have been more pleased with the experience. Initially, it was the menu offerings that attracted us but as soon as our Uber driver dropped us off and we walked in we felt like it was going to be a nice dining experience on the waterfront in Yaletown. The interior is nicely decorated with subtle lighting and low noise levels. Our waiter Michael gave us excellent service right from the get go. He and his support staff were very attentive yet gave us time to order incrementally and not rush us through our drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert. The drink list was very good and they have a great selection of wines both by the bottle and the glass. The highlight was the food. We had the premium japanese oysters to start, bouillabaise, prawn and scallop spaghettini, and a hazelnut caramel tart for dessert. Everything was really delicious. That bouillabaise broth was probably the best that I've ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and the ambiance. Very reasonably priced as well.

food was subpar with the seafood being rather poorly made and having a very strong fishy aftertaste, steak was good but the price point is ridiculous for what you'd be getting

Our server was very knowledgeable about wines and recommended a fruity French variety which paired well with the fish cake. He also recommended a delicious port that was an amazing match with the chocolate dessert!

I made a reservation. When we arrived, I was not permitted to select the table I wanted. Wasn’t looking for anything special, I just dislike the small table for 2 and would prefer more space, like a table for 4. Was only there for an hour and the restaurant never filled up. Food was not overly good and over priced for the portion received. The server was pleasant enough, however, would have preferred a more French traditional server, given the theme of the restaurant. Being by the marina was nice. Parking was fair but expensive at $7.15 an hour for street parking.

On holiday brunches we always expect to fill up and are not able to offer larger tables for parties of 2 so that we can eliminate the wait time for our other guests. Great service, very good selection of wine, really nice and comfortable ambiance. The appetizers and main dishes were delicious. All in all excellent restaurant, just a bit pricey. Have been there several times for brunch which has always been a favorite, this was our first time there for dinner.

Food was outstanding, service was friendly and helpful, the live jazz set a romantic ambience. 10/10 my boyfriend and I loved it.

This was a set menu designed for valentines day dinners. It was seafood-centric, which was perfect for us (there was also a meat based main course option), and we picked the wine sharing option. The food was excellent, as was the service. The selected wine worked well with each course. We have been to Provence for their regular menu meals menu a few times, so this was a real treat. We really enjoyed the evening and would happily recommend Provence to others.

A good menu for seafood and meat lovers alike. Every dish was well executed with ample servings. Good wine list at a variety of price points. There were 6 of us each ordering different starters and main course. All were delicious and we agreed that we looked forward to coming again. And when the bill was presented nobody felt ripped off!!! Excellent value for a lovely evening!
