$15 charge for small quantity of bread. Food salted way too much. Pork was tough. Pizza was just ok.

Service reminded me of Denny’s—everything went wrong. Every single thing took FOREVER to come out, from the beginning with drinks and bread service till dessert. They messed up multiple things, and they didn’t even bother to apologize or talk to us, let alone make eye contact. It’s unfortunate because the food was excellent, but the whole experience was very odd and disappointing.

We arrived a few minutes before our 7:30 reservation. Our table was not ready. After a few minutes we were sat at a very small table with no mention of our anniversary celebration that was clearly noted in our reservation. Our server, Jared?, told us about the restaurant and took our drink order and after bringing the drinks to our table he took our food order around 7:45pm. Our appetizers came out pretty quickly around 8pm which were fine. That’s when it all went downhill. We didn’t receive our dinner entrees, which were a butchers pie pizza and the ricotta cavatelli pizza dish, until 8:55pm. Almost an hour we waited for our entrees with no explanation from anyone. Our server never stopped by our table to let us know what was going on, and he wasn’t available for us to ask either. Food came out and my entree dish was not great. It was highly disappointing. There was some green vegetable in it that was burned or very charred which made the entire dish taste burned. There is no description of any charred vegetables in the dish. Our server never came to our table. Nobody checked on us. We had to stop him to ask for a box for the pizza and the check. After 10 minutes of him ignoring us, I asked another server for a manager. When she came over I stated we had been sitting there for a very long time and we just want our check so we can leave. She got the check for us and apologized but never inquired into what was happening. It seemed like she didn’t really care either. We never got a box and had to leave half of the $25 pizza behind. We concluded there must have been something going on in the kitchen that night for everything to take SO long and everyone to seemed so frazzled. It definitely wasn’t the experience we were hoping to have.

Had a dinner reservation for two for dinner. Got a text confirming a table was ready but it wasn’t and still had to wait for a table when we arrived. Seated in a weird spot facing each other. Many big groups and loud people. You could not hear yourself talk. All of the food was not good. We waited a very long time to get our meals. Took twenty minutes from seating to table to get drinks and even an appetizer. Plenty of workers standing around and you can see the cooks clearly chilling and hanging out. Asking for a mocktail. Full of ice drinking a flavored water. Then asked for a soda was watered down and flat. Food was not good at all. Small portions and overall gross. Not even cooked properly. Barely any cheese on my pizza (see photo). An expensive dinner that wasn’t worth it at all. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointing for a JW hotel restaurant. Needs a lot of work my revamping the menu, to hiring good staff and cooks who know what they are doing and want to work. Even had a table by us break glass and it went all over the floor. All the workers stared at each other and let it sit for a good 15 minutes before cleaning it up. They all said to each other I’m not getting that, no I’m not picking that up as we heard them speak that it’s not their job to clean it up. Finally one good worker decided to clean up the broken glass on the floor. Just don’t waste your time even coming to this place. Save your money and time.
