We throw open the garage doors to celebrate our first ten years with a menu of Primeur favourites. Expect familiar favourites like - Duck rillettes & cornichons - our Squid, lemon, caper & parsley salad and larger plates such as Turbot, butter sauce & sea greens and Beef rump, snails and garlic butter. To finish - our Chocolate mousse, caramel & almonds. The Picon bieres will be flowing and we will be digging deep into the cellar to pour a selection of our favourite wines by the glass, then what else but a Vieille Prune to round things off.

I live near Primeur and have visited it on and off over the years. The food tonight was a lazy sloppy mess. A few bits of endive in a desultory garlicky cold sauce covered in capers and olive. A cuttlefish and bean cooked muck. Sloppy aubergines. All dreary and over priced. The wine choices were banal as well. A white that tasted like scrumpy and a closed uninteresting Syrah from the Rhône. Hip complacency. Service friendly.

Unfortunately we felt rushed by the waitress throughout the meal - initially asking us our drinks order as soon as we sit down, the telling us we had to order dessert immediately because they had another booking at 9m (it was 8.30). To be honest, the delivery was curt and all 3 of us felt it was unnecessary. Otherwise the restaurant is very pretty and the food is great, so the service was a let down for the friendly neighbourhood vibe that we had expected.

Amazing! Parents loved it - top dishes for me were the world garlic cavatelli, delicious lemon sole and the arlette dessert

Beautiful restaurant, the decor is flawless, understated but stylish. Unfortunately the food was disappointing, no salad or fresh greens, all a bit stodgy for spring. The pork collar was overcooked, tough and served on a very coarse romesco. Alongside the Carlin peas it just didn’t work. The ox tongue was great though, as was the wine, so I will definitely be back to try again in the summer.

Date night with the girlfriend. Very subtle and cosy ambience in a kind of chic-industrial setting. Service was very attentive and diligent which was massively appreciated. We had cod’s roe dish which was a bit dense and heavy on the citrus. Also had a duck heart dish which was very full of flavour only let down by an over salted sauce which made it a bit unpleasant. Otherwise the wine selection was brilliant and the other 2 dishes we had were pretty good.

thought the food was really very good. in the end our seating was fine ( three of us round the top end of a long table) but initially we were seated in a line which would have made conversation quite difficult. As the occasion was a reunion after 20 years that would have been disappointing. As it turned out, it was a very enjoyable evening.

I am never sad when at Primeur. Delightful food, excellent service and have I mentioned amazing food? 4th or 5th time there and will, obviously, come back.

Possibly my favourite place for the food, drink and a relaxed/warm atmosphere in London. Always great service, you always feel welcomed and never like you're being rushed to leave which is so common nowadays. The staff are always open to share their knowledge/recommendations on the dishes and have a great selection of wines to meet all budgets. See you soon Primeur!

The atmosphere and ambience at the restaurant are great, creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. While the food is of high quality, none of the dishes stood out with exceptional flavour that would make me want to revisit. Nevertheless, it remains an great spot for a laid-back dinner

Nice ambiance and fine service, although a bit pushy on the number of courses and wine, we would not come back as we were under impressed by the menu and the quality of the food. Note: they also don’t serve coffee.

The staff were unfriendly and rushed us through service. Cleared dishes when we weren’t finished and at some points felt like dishes were slammed down when we were served. Food was nice and it’s a beautiful restaurant but the service made the cost not worth it

Gorgeous meal as always. Love the centre counter spot so you can watch the kitchen. Food is some of the best in London, but don't tell everyone ;)

We love primeur, been going since it opened. Wonderful unfussy good quality delicious food served by a talented and straightforward crew. The wine list is extensive and superb. I used to take my car to be serviced in this old garage and now I go to service myself. Thank you. Shout out to Anna the fabulous waitress.

Nice food and ambience. What marks it down is that no coffee/teas are served at the end of a meal. No hot drinks available. Also the tarte tartin was served cold and in my view should be warm - so much nicer.
