Le Portland Restaurant propose un nouveau restaurant sur la rue Great Portland. La cuisine a pour objectif d'utiliser de très bons produits, aussi simplement que possible, mais avec de l'imagination et beaucoup d'attention. Spectacularly good. The food was exceptional. Our waitress was friendly helpful and deeply knowledgeable about the dishes. Highly recommended

Fabulous food and service. Good wine list at reasonable prices. Slightly squeezed in to an ordinary setting. If it hadn't been recommended by a friend we would never have thought to go in, but it was excellent. Food choices were a little weird, but we were able to find a selection that we wanted.

We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was superb. As Ian not so fond of eggs I was able to get alternative for the first course. Friendly service, good wines. Favorite dish was the hogget.

This is one of my favourite places to eat, after 8 or 9 visits, both lunch and supper, I have never been disappointed. My only very minor criticism is that there needs to be more mid-priced wines on the wine list, the house priced wines at circa £40 or so per bottle are very reasonable, but I would like to see more slightly better wines at around £60 to £80 per bottle, as going over £100 is sometimes a bit of a stretch other than for a special occasion! The Pinot Noir, which is truly exceptional is £129, but would be nice to see a slightly more economical version...apart from that this place is fab, if you are a foodie you will love it. All the staff are lovely and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about food! Becoming rare these days. An absolute gem.

Reliably excellent food in the most unpretentious of surroundings in a location that is easy to access and where it is easy to park. There were two 'picky' eaters in my party who had no difficulty in selecting delicious food that suited their needs and delighted them
