Great Caeser salad, perfectly cooked black and blue rib eye. Very nice baked potato, and all topped off with carrot cake. This meal never fails!

Our guests really enjoyed their meals. Salmon and Walleye. We got the petite fillet and it was really over cooked and dry. Disappointing

Enjoyed our dinner celebrating Mother’s Day with my favorite women Mom and Mammasita. Service was excellent. All food options were delish, shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, and entrees spot on. Highlight was the lobster tails, prepared to perfection. Only complaint is my steak was a little over done. I requested medium rare and it was definitely medium well. Other than that the drinks were fabulous, atmosphere pleasant, wonderful service. And the highlight was the turtled cheese cake….WOW so good.

Our anniversary meal was fantastic, at no fault of the restaurant, we were seated next to a very very loud talker. Basically all we heard all night.

My husband swears you make the BEST Old Fashioneds he's EVER had! Plus, you carry my favorite wine- Dr Loosen Riesling. Our meals were scrumptious! My husband had the swordfish special and he LOVED it! I had the New York Sirloin and it was the best one I'd had in a long time- perfectly cooked and not fatty or grisly. Our server, Ellie, was delightful! She was so sweet and attentive. Ellie was outstanding! We had a WONDERFUL evening at Porterhouse, as always!

Birthday celebration with 3 sibling couples. Steak was had by all. All except me were happy with their steak. I ordered the 18 oz. NY strip steak and was served a thinner, smaller steak done well to medium well rather than medium as requested. Another person in our party ordered the same steak done rare and got the correct piece of meat done as he requested. The waitress told me the steak had shrunk because I ordered it medium rather than rare as the other person at the table did. That was a ridiculous comment. She told the manager about my complaint and they gave me a $20 credit on the bill. We have eaten here many times before and have always been happy with the experience. We will be coming back for sure.

We were a group of 6 celebrating two birthdays. We live far away, but come here a free times a year for special occasions. One steak was very rare, it was ordered medium plus. We finally convinced that person to send it back to be cooked more. They did it and the steak was fine. One had the pan fried walleye and did not like it at all. The other four were very happy with their meals. Unfortunately the two people whose meals weren’t good were first timers and are fussy and very budget conscious so it wasn’t a a great first time experience for them. But we still love Porterhouse and will be back!

My husband and I have gone to Porterhouse over the past 20 years and moved away for 3 years. We were excited to return there to eat for his birthday. My husband said his meal was good, but mine was fair in comparison to years past. Our potatoes were lukewarm, and our martinis were watered down. Service was good but not great in spite of the full bar seating but not hectic like the days of old. We were somewhat disappointed to find our old fav had lost some of its appeal and fun of days past.

Dinner was great. We ordered appetizers, oysters, clam chowder, 18 ounce ribeye and lobster tai. All of it was delicious. Waitress was great about putting food in at a timely manner so we had time to digest appetizers before main meal. Overall it was great!

Amazing great good. We had 4 different entrees and all were excellent (salmon special, pork loin, small filet mignon and prawns). Service was amazing!!! I’d recommend to anyone for a special occasion
