Found this great Bistro during the pandemic when you could only eat outside.We have gone back ever since! The owner takes good care of his customers! The wait staff is phenomenal too. We had Margie who made sure we were well taken care of as well as the two bus boys!

Excellent food & service! Started with the Grilled hearts of romaine (a meal in itself!) Loved the combination of sundried tomatoes, candied walnuts. Diver scallops over risotto were done perfectly. Ahi Tuna with soba noodles a treat! There are so many delicious sounding options, it's hard to decide on a dinner selection!

Mike Giordano is a true artist. I’m no food critic but I know a great meal when I have one. The serving size and presentation are very nice. The Jersey corn chowder is a must have starter.

Our server made us feel like he had something better to do. He told us the specials and then went away. When the food arrived the potatoes were not hot and the salmon was not well done as my husband had requested. He never filled my wine glass or my husband s Perrier. At this price I expect more

My friend had the lobster dish which is a tower and includes a crab cake. She said it was wonderful. I had the pistachio encrusted halibut and it was great. I tried the duck confit ravioli which came with a sweet potato mousse…there was not a lot of duck in it at all. But flavors were good otherwise.

Posched Pear is my favorite restaurant. The menu offers something for every one and the specials are always tempting. Service is professional, friendly but not intrusive. It’s a very special restaurant and our go to place for special occasions.

Food not great and way overpriced.15.00 for onion soup and 58.00 for 3 lamb chops? Come on now.Menu never changes.Women at next table was on speaker phone for at least 5 minutes and no one in charge said a word to her.It’s not my job to tell her how annoying she was.Will not be going back.

Such a wonderful restaurant! Highly recommend the gnocchi, the grilled romaine salad and the Lamb shank special when available. Our server Sandy was super professional and knew the menu extremely well. Some tough tables around us and she was unfazed. Can’t wait to return. .

The Poached Pair Bistro was the perfect restaurant for our anniversary dinner. The ambience, food and service added to our celebration. From the specials for the evening I ordered the Corvina fish special and my wife ordered the Apple Cider Brined Pork Chop. We shared the Asparagus Fries appetizer and Poached Pear salad. All were absolutely deliciously prepared and served by professional, friendly, helpful staff. We were surprised for desert with vanilla ice cream to share. If you have not tried Poached Pear Bistro do so soon for your special occasion or for that matter, any occasion you want to make special. You will not be disappointed and too will make Poached Pear Bistro one of your favorites.

This was my first time here and I thought it was fantastic The service was good and friendly. The food was spectacular. We each had an iced tea, which is brewed there and was so tasty. A very good homemade iced tea. We split the Cajun calamari. It was tender and the Cajun sauce was good I would have liked more of a kick but it was tasty. My duck was superb. Cooked perfectly and was paired with sweet potatoes in a pastry dough. The sauce was awesome . My dinner companion had seared tuna. So fresh and quite good. The place is lovely and is a BYOB I highly recommend

Tried 2 new dishes, lamb shank and fish special. Loved the lamb. The fish wasn’t exactly what my mom expected, she just thought it wasn’t for her but thought it was prepared well. She wouldn’t get again only because there are so many other choices she knows she loves. She was glad she tried it. Sometimes it’s just a matter of personal taste and nothing to do with how a meal is cooked. She loved the duck appetizer and I can never not get the corn bisque. Excellent service too!

The menu at the Poached Pear is excellent. The presentation of the food is attractive and the service is great. They have specials in addition to the regular menu. Everything was delicious. It is well worth the money to dine there.

Really pretty place but the value of the food missed the mark and the service was neglectful. The server waited quite a a while to check how our food was and when he finally did it was like a hit and run. He was literally already walking away from the table as he was asking if everything was ok. For those prices they need better for and service.
