Join us at The Plumeria Beach House restaurant for a special Memorial Day lunch buffet. An all-you-can-enjoy buffet featuring a carving station, chef specialties and delicious desserts (Please visit our website for full offerings). Memorial Day buffet reservations are available from 11am - 2:00pm, $79 for adults and $49 for children (6-12 yrs) plus tax and gratuity (A service charge of 19% will be added to checks for parties of 6 guests or more). No other menu will be available during the buffet. Reservations canceled within 72 hours of the buffet date will incur a $25 fee per person. No-show reservations will incur a full-price fee of $79 per person.

Enjoy fresh seafood near the ocean, such as our Signature Misoyaki Butterfish, Steamed Snow Crab, Ahi Sashimi, and much more! Ala-Carte will not be available during this time. The Seafood Buffet is $90 for Adults and $45 for Keiki (6-12 years old), plus tax and gratuity. A 19% service charge is added to parties of 6 or more. No-show reservations will be charged the full amount of $90 per person. A credit card is required to secure your reservation.

The food was mediocre, at best. The dishes were fairly uninspired, under seasoned and quite bland. Cocktails were also menh… The service was attentive and the setting was beautiful. With all of the great places to eat in Honolulu we were disappointed we chose this spot.

I had a pasta it was okay, I wouldn’t recommend to friends. Bento box was good. Basically went for atmosphere date with husband but server was a very dull, I would not going back for a while.

Had to wait 15 mins past Mother's Day reservation time, waiter never returned with a bourbon list, buffet ran out of prime rib & crab twice and we had to wait in a line, buffet plate table clearing service did not happen twice when we came back with full plates and lastly, if your seated in the ocean dining room, you have to walk through the hostess stand/lobby area to the buffet in the far dining room and then walk through it again, with a full plate, which is awkward & it created a bottleneck of people who are waiting to be seated at a table and taking photos in front of the Plumeria Beach House sign. We're local residents and the Plumeria Beach House is normally in our top five restaurants in Honolulu. It was a disapointing Mother's Day experience for $125 per person.

Maybe our expectations need to change. The restaurants definitely has changed. And not for the better. We expected a lot more last night than what we had. When there was food in the stations it was mediocre at best. Looks like the reservations and the check didn’t communicate at all. Each time I visited the food stations, there was no food in the chafing pans. It’s great that the restaurant was open. But they did plan it out to accommodate everyone. Very unfortunate, but we were grateful to be there. And made the most of our situation

The food was fairly average in flavor, I think the fact that some food is best served right away rather than perhaps in a buffet style. For the cost I cannot say it was worth the price. There were highlights like the butterfish and mussel dish. For our party of 4 we'll pass on the buffet and maybe opt for a sit down menu in the future.

I love taking my mother to the plumeria room restaurant on Mother's Day because they have their brunch buffet all day so more times to choose from. The open-door dining is a beautiful way to celebrate the important women in your life. the food is outstanding. The miso yaki butter fish, the sushi, prime rib...etc is so delicious, the quality of food is always 100%. The people who work the busiest day of the year are so lovely and friendly. Truly a wonderful experience for you and your loved ones.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Plumeria Beach House was not a great experience. It was crowded and the buffet lines were a free-for-all. All of the food was located in the Maile Ballroom with nothing in Plumeria Beach house so if you were seated in the restaurant, you had to schlep your food back and forth between the restaurant and ballroom while dodging everyone who was waiting for a table since the waiting area is located in between the two venues. The food was not bad (think a little nicer banquet food) but all served in buffet chafing dishes. The entertainment was only in the ballroom, not in the restaurant. Service was just okay, not what you would expect for the price. It was very noisy with the clanging of dishes. The worst part is that it took 45 minutes to get your car out of valet parking because it was so congested and people were not paying attention when their cars were brought around because they had been waiting so long. Not the experience that you would expect for $125 per person at a luxury hotel.

As always, the food is outstanding! Our server was a bit off. Waited 10 minutes until acknowledged & took our drink order. After 30 minutes, we realized she forgot my husband's drink, it took another 20 minutes to get it. We waited for 20 minutes for our check and waited another 20 for her to pick it up. It took awhile for her to bring it back, too. If she was disappointed with her service tip, oh well. BUT we will be back, we love the food at Plumeria Beach House.

The Mother’s Day buffet was $125 per person, more than double the usual weekend buffet. It included some extras ie snow crab, sashimi and suckling pig and a few green salads. But overall mostly the same and we were rather disappointed with the value. We were seated in the outdoor area so couldn’t hear the live entertainment in the ballroom they set up. Don’t think we will be choosing again. $635 for four adults all in. $80-85 would have been more reasonable. Our waiter talked to his coworkers more than us and we had to get up and find him. Love this place usually but today was not the best.

First time trying their Seafood Buffet. Excellent spread….. very onolicious, and the service was outstanding. Our Waiter Dustin was on point from beginning to end. He made it a memorable experience for us. Thank you sir.

One of the best breakfast buffet experience on Oahu. Food quality is always good, atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful and service is top notch. Highly recommend trying to atleast once.

Our experience at Plumeria extends beyond the seafood buffet since we have been hotel guests and our package includes daily breakfast. We also dined at the restaurant multiple times. Each time our experience has been superb. I can’t single out any staff member since they all are wonderful.

Lunch, brunch, dinner, seafood buffet... it's always a win here. Beautiful views and friendly staff. Food is good and there is something for everyone. The 60th anniversary shrimp dish on the dinner menu was outstanding!

We are regulars at Plumeria Beach House. Had company here from Florida. Took them to Orchids at Halekulani for breakfast the other day. We all had omelettes at both restaurants. Halekulani has become really stingy with their portion sizes of late, so I won’t be going back there anytime soon. The Kahala serves so much food, we couldn’t eat it all! Definitely try their special wheat toast if you go…..so delicious!

This is our favorite restaurant. We always go here for special occasions. The food is always great. The only downside this time was the terrible noise made by the waiters while moving chairs and tables around. Picking the chairs up would have made sense.

A few friends got together to celebrate major milestones and we enjoyed the visit to Plumeria Beach House. The Hawaiian Style buffet was good and offered several varieties of local food. The miso butter fish was Ono, and the poi/lomi lomi/Lau Lau were delicious — broke da mouth. The view was spectacular, as always, and the wait staff was super friendly. The live music was excellent as well. Overall, we enjoyed our time at Plumeria Beach House.

Beautiful view and our server was very nice and accommodating. Food was good. There was a good variety on the breakfast buffet. My only things is I’m gluten free and it would have been nice if there was more of a gluten section. In the pastry area the had one gluten free muffin but it was in shelving unit with regular pastries and there was only one tong to get them out so you knew there was cross contamination. There were a few items not labeled with any allergies like potatoes and salad dressing, it would have been nice to know if they were gluten free.

The Plumeria Beach House is the absolute perfect special occasion dinner venue. Everything from the delicious cuisine to the attentive service is exemplary. Our server, Tearii, greeted us by wishing us a happy anniversary. His assistant server, who always made sure our plates were immediately removed and glasses always filled with water was just as nice. We cannot imagine a setting more ideal than the open-air tables mere yards from the beach. The buffet was equipped with rotating fly fans that kept the offerings pest free. We noticed these were also available by request for individual tables. The food was fresh, presented beautifully and the correct temperature for each dish. Our meal was culminated by a delicious little cake with an anniversary chocolate and a special Kahala Hotel plumeria candy garnish. It was pricey for average folks such as ourselves, yet the place was filled. This was definitely a five star celebration!

The Plumeria House at the Kahala Hotel and Resort is fabulous. Superb food, breathtaking view and attentive gracious service. Highly recommended for a meal fit for Hawaiian royalty. My mother enjoyed her Mothers Day lunch and is looking forward to her next visit.

This was our first time at the seafood buffet. Wow is a great word to describe the selection. Everything was wonderful. We didn’t do the crab, but we tried pretty much everything else and everything was delicious. Teddy was our server and he was as friendly and helpful as anyone could possibly be. We look forward to returning to the Plumaria, and hopefully Teddy will be our server.

We had the Friday night seafood buffet. It was excellent. The shrimp sushi was good and there were two types of crab, Dungeness and snow. The prime rib was very soft and tender. There were two types of fish that was their specialty. Both the miso butterfish and the smoked salmon were made in-house, and they were the superstars of the buffet. For dessert, the lilikoi bread pudding was delicious. It was the perfect birthday dinner for my husband. Everyone can find something they like.

We ordered the lunch special which was amazing and took the effort of deciding what to eat out. With 2 choices available in each of the three courses it fit our preferences and saved time
