Located in the heart of Islamorada at mile marker 81.6, Pierre's Restaurant is set amidst a glorious, palm-lined beach overlooking blue waters, with walking paths through tropical flowers and a thatched forest. The two-story exterior resembles the old colonial style residences found in West Africa, but its interior reflects different cultures from around the world. Pierre's offers fine dining on the second floor. Guests may enjoy meals indoors, or on the balcony-accompanied by Islamorada's spectacular sunsets and tropical views. The Green Flash Lounge serves guests on the main floor and the downstairs veranda. Outdoor seating is first come, first served and not available to be reserved.

When in the Florida Keys you tend to have a set expectation of the dining experiences available. Most are consistently good but the best part of the meal tends to be the vibe, you’re in the Keys. Pierre’s blows that notion out of the water. This restaurant experience was one of the top five I’ve ever had. The Resraurant is designed from a house that was there in the years ago (20s -30s) and destroyed in a huricane. It beach behind the was rebuilt and is absolutely beautiful. We dined on the balcony and enjoyed a spectacular sunset. The back ground music was perfect and not to a level where conversation was difficult. This established the mood of the Pierre’s and we hadn’t been introduced to any food at that point. The server was wonderful and informative, he’s where we learned some of the history of the establishment. He was very attentive but never over bearing. Then came the dinner. I had the grouper and my wife went for the fillet and lobster. The taste of of our meals is difficult to describe. It was wonderful in every way. We travel a great deal and have visited many restaurants in many countries. Who would have thought the best French meal I’ve ever had would be in the Florida Keys. After ten years on open table this is my very first review. My description of this experience is weak when compared with the meal. If you ever find yourself in the Keys do yourself a favor and have dinner at Pierres.

I suggest arriving early to have a drink on the wonderful back porch. Elegant dinner in a casual tone, beautiful couples.

One of the best dinners we’ve ever experienced. Price per value was worth it, but I had a hard time rating price as a “5” due to the overall cost TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!

Just way too hot to sit outside. The butter started to melt. No air movement at all. The staff was friendly but something should be done via fans to keep the diners comfortable. Way too hot to enjoy what could have been a good meal. Kudos to the staff they tried.

The girl that took us to the our table was horrible she had such a bad attitude she put us in a table outside in a corner that was super hot and she got mad when we requested to move inside to the table we reserved. The girl that help us at the table was really nice and food was good but to be honest that first impression of that rude lady change our previous great experience at this restaurant before , you didn’t feel welcome and it was like she was forced to help us Not sure if I will go back in such an expensive place you should expect nice and professional service

Where do I begin, although we had a reservation, we had slow service and they said they ran out of bread. We were served a small app, which caused a digestive issue. I went there to eat duck, but when I asked if it was tender my waitress said, "no, it will be meaty and not tender." I had to order the lamb, which was $72, but was charged $75. It was very, very rare although I asked fir medium, with a little pink, so I barely ate. Also another waitress came thru the rest with 2 baskets of bread. I then asked her for bread and they brought us bread, we were told, " they did not know where it came from". I have eaten at Pierre's many times and truly expected fine dining. I'm not sure what happened that night but will probably not return soon.
