The rabbit ravioli was a different sort of treat. The pasta pouch was thick and tasty. The rabbit’s unique flavor was drown out by the sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly, however plated as a slab of meat, rather than sliced for a better presentation and more tender bites. There could have been more sauce for the steak. The tuna tartare was excellent with several flavors going on. The fries that came with the steak were excellent.

Spectacular views outdoors on the 15th floor of a building in downtown Los Angeles. First class all the way. Excellent service. The menu is a bit limited, but the food was creative and tasty. I had the short rib with beets. Highly recommended. Pricey but worth it.

Great setting in the thick of the city. Outdoor dining area is not well covered by heating lamps, so hit and miss if you get a decent spot on a cold day/evening. Steaks are good. Sides delicious.

I loved everything minus the fact that they ran out of your delicious ribeye. Was looking forward to eating that with my girlfriend. She also was sad about that haha other than that everything was excellent.

I took my mom here for Mother's Day. First of all, I felt like the servers/host was annoyed because we wanted a good seat and they weren't super accommodating until we moved inside where there weren't as many people. The first couple of tables, the sun was in my mom's eye the entire time and even after expressing my concern for it, they didn't do anything so we just asked for a different table. Our server at our final table was nice. She was constantly checking up on us while our server from the outside table didn't even come to us after sitting for 10 minutes. However, the food was really good and the wait time for the food was really short (which was good cuz we were hungry!). My only thing was how much attitude I was getting from the servers/host at the beginning of our experience when I asked for another table due to the sun beaming down at us.

My mom and I had a favorite restaurant that shut down during the pandemic. We were afraid that we would never a place that had amazing food, music, and atmosphere. Taking her to perch was the best mother's day decision EVER! We've finally found a replacement for "our place"

10/10 had an amazing time!! Waitress’s were so accommodating and helpful. Made our experience care free, fun, and delicious. We love Perch and intend on coming every weekend!!

Everything went well until I was leaving and this server name Javi decided to walk in front of me and stood there making me move around him. I’ve been here several times before and never had an issue with anyone but today even the bussers were a bit combative. When I say place the dishes on the center of the table since we’re all sharing they would say no who do I give this to? I don’t know what happen yesterday but service was off. My server was great. He was nice and friendly. The other people not so much.

The wait time for drinks took about 20 minutes and the seating outside was just the part you go for but overall the pricing wasn’t worth the food or drinks.

What sets this place apart is its ambiance: from the lighting and view to the interior design and the beautiful people. While the food and drinks are good, you can find better options at many places in LA.

We enjoyed our food. The hostess was great. It is a little hectic when it’s full. But that’s part of the ambience (i guess). We could not get at least a smile from our waitress. But the busser made up for it. We made sure to tip him separately as well. He was very attentive. Our waitress on the other hand acted like a robot. No smile, no engagement, no nothing. just took our order and disappeared. Or maybe she was just judging the book by its cover. We still left her a 20% tip only because I’ve been in the restaurant business for 30 years and I know the tip gets distributed to others. For that reason I won’t rate this establishment based on her bad service. We will be back, so long as she is not our server. Great food and great cocktails! Good job to our busser who saved the night:) and made it enjoyable.

Definitely a great place for date nights, ladies night, Bros night out, and just an overall nice dinner spot. If you choose to sit on the rooftop and it's not hot outside bring a jacket or a light sweater. But they also have a limited supply blankets

The place is located in what I think is an apartment building so there is a bit of confusion as to how to get to the actual restaurant. Its DTLA so its a bit grimmy and seedy feeling at first glance as you enter the building off the street. Lots of attitude from the two ladies at the hostess stand but we were quickly sat. Our gratitude and thank you's were ignored. The waitress took our drink order quickly which was great but for some reason it took a while for her to come back to take our food order. The food came quickly and was good. However, right as we were digging into our deserts we were told our two hour window was up for the reservation. I wanted to ask did that include the 20 minutes we waited for the waitress to take our order? I actually had to ask someone to get her so we could order. It was really off putting to be told we had to beat it cause they needed the table. I completely understand that... but maybe its was the delivery that made it feel awkward. I'd've rather been told when they sat us how much time we had so we could've managed our time. Anyway, we had to pay the bill and scarf down the desert, which was delicious. All in all there are great things about this place including the food. But I'm in no hurry to go back and probably would avoid it on busy nites. We were there on a Thursday night. The food was great. The decor and the view inspiring. The ambiance, service definitely could be elevated to match the food.

Our reservation was yesterday - Thursday evening with the perfect amount of patrons celebrating graduation parties - it started out to be a delightful experience. Our drinks were delicious and my blue violet cocktail was hands down as tasty as it was colorful! I had the tuna tartare - nice amount of citrus juice, husband ordered the sea bass - it was divine and creamy. But then midway through our dinner our waitress disappeared - POOF - not to be seen or heard of again. We were guessing there must have been a shift change - no announcements or a heads up - Very Strange for an establishment like the Perch. Our table was at a perfect location - right next to the open air. It could have been a magical night celebrating my son’s USC graduation but it was such a massive DISAPPOINTMENT - unclear if we’ll ever go back.

The on-duty manager Brett welcomed my wife and I with a smile and ensured we had a wonderful time celebrating two birthdays on Sunday, May 5. During our visit, he walked the floor and talking with other customers. Additionally, he ensured we received the best customer service you would expect from an elegant restaurant. We enjoyed excellent views from our table. The pampering treatment was truly amazing, and we were very grateful for it. The Perch has a manager who is approachable and visible throughout the night and knows how to treat customers. We would like to thank Brett and his staff for an excellent night.

The steak needs to be seasoned and should come out hot. Remove the jus and the only sauce on the plate should be the truffle cheese sauce.

The food was not cooked properly- our steaks were overcooked. The patio was so loud we couldn’t have conversation. The prices were pretentious. The outdoor table we were given did not have any view and was so close to other tables we couldn’t sit comfortably. Our waiter for whatever reason was super rude to us. Other restaurant staff that would clean the table between dishes were awkward and kept asking to take food we were eating. He would ask while we were eating if we were done and stick his hand out demanding the plate. Very uncomfortable that we had to hand him the plates off the table when he could easily grab them himself. We were handed our bill shortly after getting our entree. Our dinner took over 2.5 hours due to how slow they made the food. And being our anniversary we expected maybe a complementary dessert or something as most restaurants do, but instead we had to pay $17 for 3 scoops of ice cream that was the wrong flavor from what we ordered. The elevator was so crowded that we needed to take the stairs to leave, which was dangerous considering my date wore high heels. Overall I wouldn’t had better service and more consistency from a drive thru.

Do not go for the food, only go for the view! Food is horrible, drinks aren’t as bad! As someone who knows beer, they have an awful selection or drafts and bottle. We really enjoyed the view and the vibes though

The building that Perch is in is lovely and historic. My dining companion and I had a series of missteps in getting the right table. The first one was by a too-warm fireplace on the sunny patio, the next table in full sun and then finally we were seated at a tiny round table inside. Our server was pleasant but dirty plates remained on the tale a little too long. The signature cocktail I had was OK, not terrific. We shared the crabcake app, which was really three small crab bites about the size of an olive that had been deep fried. The Baby gem lettuce salad was a highlight as the lettuce was crisp. The salmon entree was fairly standard with the salmon overcooked (even though I asked for medium rare). Creme brulee for dessert was fine. Overall, Perch is serviceable, but not a foodie destination.

We arrived 7:30 pm for dinner. Felt right away like quick in and out service style. We ordered several drinks and foods. One dish were forgotten. I specifically asked/wishes to see the view and got a table in the middle, so only 2 could see the city views. Didn’t even asked for a bill yet, and yet got it directly after waiter took away our plates. And i had to go to cashier to able to pay with card. Not worth the money, food was ok.

Booked a table for 2 and informed the restaurant that it was our wedding day. They confirmed the special occasion but did nothing to celebrate with us. Food was average but arrived so quickly it was like a fast food restaurant. Dessert menu arrived but was picked up without asking if we wanted to order. Bill arrived before we had even finished our wine. Not an experience I would recommend to anyone.

Let me start by saying that the food was absolutely delicious! Our cocktail was delicious and the wine poor generous. Service however, was just okay; we had expected knowledgable and experienced servers (which we often get downtown LA restaurants.) The view from the far corner where we sat was not at all what we had expected; out table was in a very far corner, isolated from the cozy and pretty part of the restaurant and entertainment; we were disappointed. Our biggest issue was with the young lady who greeted us on the 13th level. We arrived excited to celebrate our wedding anniversary. However, she addressed us with such cold, abrupt, condescending manners that we immediately felt uneasy. She treated us the exact same way when we left. Simply put she was bossy and rude, the worst type of customer service for our first and last experience with Perch. With that being said, we will not come back. There are too many great restaurant to chose from where such behavior would never be tolerated.

Nice roof top bar Putting sauce on fries isn a really bad idea. Steak was fairly good. Decent if unspectacular Nice staff very helpful
