We spent our first anniversary here and we plan on coming back for every anniversary in the future!! This was hands down the best meal we have ever eaten. Absolutely delicious!!

The chutney they use on their pepper steak seemed a bit different than it used to be. In the past, it was chopped finer. I prefer that to the way it was yesterday. Otherwise, food was delicious as always.

The Peppertree is always a special place. The table side preparation for appetizers, meals and desserts is always entertaining. The food and drinks are simply amazing.

Food was excellent as usual. We had the ribeye and steak Diane. Dessert was delicious also. Only drawback would be the view isn’t as nice as it could be.

First time back since they renovated the restaurant. Very nice uplift for sure. Food and service remained the same - FANTASTIC.

My wife and I love the Pepper Tree Restaurant. We go there every year for our anniversary. Sometimes during the year if we have something to celebrate. We love the food, the waiters and waitresses are great. Also, the cooking of the food at the table is unique and the cooks take the time to talk to you while they do the cooking. We recommend the restaurant all the time to friends. LOVE IT!

Always an incredible experience. They could upgrade inside a. It, but the food and the service is tremendous. As for vale, well, you don’t go there to save money - and the experience is worth the contribution! We’ll be back!

We drove two hours to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. At first, the wait staff was polite and sat us. There was one couple already seated. We ordered drinks and it took a long time to receive them. Meanwhile, 4 or 5 tables had filled up. It was then the service turned sour. All the people who had come in after us had been waited on and orders taken. It was as if we weren't there. One by one, the orders came out for the other tables, and we just sat there. Finally, someone took our order, and it took another 15-20 minutes for the food to come out. While eating, I wanted a refill on my drink. I tried everything to get someone's attention. I finally waived down the water girl and she went and got me a drink. No wait staff came back to check on us during our meal, and they were checking on other tables. We were finished and waited for someone to attend to us. The waiter went to the table next to us instead and asked if they wanted a dessert. They ordered bananas foster. As he was starting to walk off, I got his attention and told him I'd like one too. He went and got his cooking cart. They cook it in front of your table. He started cooking the other tables first, and it didn't take but a couple of minutes. He then pushed the cart in front of our table and started cooking when he realized that he didn't have the bananas to make it. He kept looking around as if he was looking for someone to bring them to him. So he turned the burner off, and we didn't see him for another couple of minutes. I must say the bananas foster were the best I ever had. They were very prompt in bringing the bill. What was supposed to be a special dinner wasn't.

Pepper Tree's newly renovated interior continues to provide superb food and service. An elegant dining experience without being stuffy. Wonderful choice for special occasions or just a very enjoyable dining experience. Table-side preparation of Caesar salad, Pepper Tree Steak or certain desserts is impressive and festive.

Wonderful experience took a friend for his birthday. The food was awesome. The service was great. Everything was beautifully done. Still my favorite restaurant in Colorado Springs.

The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. The dining area looks well done after the renovation, but the acoustics are terrible. One drunk loudmouth - let's call him Foghorn - ruined the dining experience for everyone at our table because we had a very hard time communicating with each other. All the other tables had to speak louder as well which raised the overall volume in the restaurant to an uncomfortable level. My ears actually hurt for several minutes after Foghorn left.

It has changed a lot. We’ve been going since the 90s. They changed the recipe for the mango chutney for the pepper steak which we always loved. The one they served was bad. I ended up bringing it home and made my own flavorful chutney on top. The steak wasn’t even as tender and silky melt in your mouth like it used to be either…That’s the signature to go to PepperTree for and I was very very disappointed. It was sooooooo loud too. They needed some acoustic ceiling boards or wall boards. I was so hoping to enjoy the renovations and restaurant.

The sauces are to die for! We ordered the Pan Fried Crab Cakes for app, they were delicious! The trout, swordfish and chicken were all delicious as well as the outstanding bread pudding for dessert. This is the first time I have dined here and not ordered a steak. We were not disappointed. I have 3 favorite restaurants in CS and this is one of them.

Incredible experience. Went for an early Valentine’s date the night before. The service was top notch. The team of servers, bartenders, and chef’s went all out. May have been a normal night for them but they made our night spectacular. Well done!

We’ve been there many times and this time the pepper steak was a little tough around the edges. Typically we can cut the steak easily with a butter knife, but this time the cut wasn’t as tender. Still love the service and ambience and will continue to visit, but just a slight bit disappointed in the pepper steak.

The beef Wellington was exceptional. The service was great and even with a big reservation taking up half the area it was still quiet. Will definitely be back.
