Lovely place. Great view. Food was good. Not a bad value based on the total experience. However, table service was very rushed. We had barely gotten our wine when the soup arrived, like a minute later. Before we had even finished our soup, the main course arrived. we mentioned that to the server (not the waiter), and got a I'm just brining out the food" reply. I guess we should have asked not to be rushed.

I would have thought that this was a romantic upscale dinner place but I was wrong. Everyone wearing super casual clothes, over priced cafeteria food and service was mediocre at best. Menu is limited. The view is spectacular, but it is not as romantic as someone would think reading the description. It is just too many people on the deck to make it romantic in any way. We didn't even want the dessert. We came back down the hill and had dessert in Palm Springs to avoid the basic, bland taste of any more food from this place.

My husband and I had a great dining experience. We had reservations for a later time but they were able to accommodate us to get in earlier. The food and service was great. The view was beautiful and we highly recommend.

Everything was great! Overall a great experience to celebrate my 9 year old’s birthday. I was hoping for more of a selection on the menu but the burgers were delish!

It was my birthday, I specified that when booking on Open Table. No Attention, not even a simple Happy Birthday…. Shame. Otherwise the food was ok, I think it’s a tourist restaurant and the staff makes no effort. The view is superb but a picnic would have been much better!

Service was very good, food was “OK“. Remember, you’re typically going for the views and the experience. Also great that you can do a little hiking before eating, which is great!

The food is over priced. Staff is brother line frinedly. A one-time experience. Will be back for the views for sure. The cafe on the other hand was on point with their staff and service.

We celebrated a combined 59th & 60th Birthday (6 of us) and Peaks made it memorable by bringing out 6 ice cream bowls on a plate that said Happy Birthday!! We were very grateful that they went out of their way to make it special for us. Our waiter, Tito, was absolutely awesome. I highly recommend it. Thank you.

Food and view were fabulous..unfortunately at the end of our meal we saw a mouse run up the wall and into the dining area corner of the restaurant, just next to our table. Our waiter immediately reported it to his supervisor and told us that they would take care of it. The prices are a bit high, but the unique view and ambience was worth it to us.

For sure, if you want a decent meal at the top of the mountain, this is the place to go. The other eateries are cafeteria style and we wanted to sit down. The staff were really nice, helpful and friendly. They sat us early for our reservation, which was very kind of them, although the entire time we were there, the restaurant was never full. We ordered cocktails first, and thought we would have a moment to enjoy them before eating. Right after our server placed our cocktail order, she returned and asked us if we were ready to order. We went ahead and ordered a couple of appetizers, as well as our main courses. Within less than five minutes, before our cocktails even arrived, my burger was delivered. It was so soon after ordering, I was sure that it was delivered to the wrong table. Or worse, it had been sitting on the counter, already prepped and waiting for the next person to order. In fact it was fairly decent, aside from the fact that it was lukewarm at best. As were the fries. The other two main courses, (there were three of us) as well as our two appetizers, came immediately after the burger, and were all average. The cocktails came last! I suppose we should have specified we wanted the apps first, but isn’t that expected? Were they perhaps trying to turn the table over quickly? We stayed long after finishing, and the staff remained friendly and chill, not seeming to want to rush us, so that doesn’t seem to explain it. All that said, I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were. Still, I would gladly have paid more to have been able to slow things down, and to have hot food. Because the staff was so nice, I didn’t feel like acting like an entitled witch and sending everything back. I stayed grateful in the fact that I had food delivered to me at 8000+ feet, and enjoyed my espresso martini, albeit during and after my meal!

You can’t beat the view. The food was amazing, but the steak was undercooked. With that said, it was still a wonderful experience

Obviously the views from the restaurant were gorgeous and we had an elevated table so we could definitely “see for miles”. Our server Diego was professional yet personable and helped us with menu suggestions, he provided excellent and sincere service. A chicken sandwich with sidewinder fries sounds like simple fare but it was super flavorful and so delicious!! I can’t wait to have that again! An abundant piece of succulent grilled chicken, avocado, bacon, wonderful unigue sauces and cheese and greens etc so packed with flavor on super soft (not heavy) bread. Sidewinder fries also a delicious and different surprise! Our cocktails were terrific also - and yes a bit pricey but “you’re on top of the mountain at over 8,000 ft haha A delightful and surprisingly extra delicious dining experience!

We were pleasantly surprised. The service and food was good and I loved the fact that the hostess acknowledged our request when I made the reservation. She sat us promptly at a table with a great view.

I came here on my girlfriend’s birthday. Nate was our server and was absolutely incredible. I had the chicken sandwich and my girlfriend had the pasta with added salmon. We had a blast, dessert was delicious and the view was incredibly gorgeous. We will be back for sure!

Had a great experience last evening. Our waiter Chris was amazing! Highly recommend for the great food, service, and the spectacular view looking down over 8,000 feet to the desert below makes this a must do!

Totalmente recomendado para pasar el día. Tiene un panorama y viaje en teleférico espectacular, el ambiente y los empleados muy tranquilo y amables, el museo y tiendas de recuerdos es recomendado ver; y por último la comida en el restaurante está muy bien, puede ser mejor, el precio es un poco caro pero para pasar un buen tiempo en familia vale mucho la pena. Volvería otra vez con mucho gusto.

Visiting The Peak proved to be a very nice overall experience. Lovely ambience! And we met some fellow patrons at the restaurant, struck up a good conversation and we had a very memorable and enjoyable evening. The menu selection was very good. We ended up splitting the meatloaf dinner as the portions were more adequate and filling for two of us. The tram ride back down the mountain at Sunset was breathtaking and beautiful! The tram operator played some tunes and the entire tram was rockin’! I would highly recommend this adventure!

Wonderful dinner for 10 against a lovely sunset at the top of the mountain. Our server Chris was simply the best. The atmosphere, food and service were exceptional. Prices reasonable, many food items to choose from. Yummy desserts (try the tiramisu). We were able to linger as long as we desired. Highly recommend Peaks Restaurant 🥰

A special dinner for family visiting from England. The restaurant did not disappoint. We had the spinach artichoke dip appetizer to start the evening. Our dinner orders included the salmon, osso bucco, and the duck. We were celebrating two birthdays and were treated to a complimentary dessert! After dinner cocktails added to the social night.

Prices and venue suggest fine dining. Food was sub par at best and came out so fast it was clearly from the same cafeteria line as the other restaurant. Busser was incredibly pleasant and helpful even more so than the waiter. He deserves a promotion.

There is always an allure dining up high, but restaurant food quality lacking in all aspects. On the plus the staff were great and there are beautiful views. Worth the cable car ride up to explore... but better dinner options closer to the base near Walk of the Stars

LOVED dining at Peaks Restaurant. Gabby (Gabriela) and everyone else there made it such a hospitable and welcomed visit. From being seated - to answering menu questions, delicious food… we recommend dining at Peaks Restaurant.

We had a wonderful evening at the Peaks Restaurant. We had a second level table and the view was amazing. I was a little concerned because the tables for 2 are set very close together, but it was surprisingly private. We didn't order appetizers. For entree I had the filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and carrots. The potatoes were delicious. The steak was done perfectly. I ordered Medium, and that is what I got. My friend ordered grilled salmon with mango chutney and rice, which looked and tasted terrific. As far as desserts, my friend said her creme brulee was a little eggy. I had the Tiramisu, and it was good. Altogether a very pleasant evening .
