A piece of Austria without Alpine kitsch in the middle of Berlin - that's Ottenthal. Unnecessary frills are avoided here and quality in details and consistency is sought. The restaurant is named after a small wine-growing village in Lower Austria. This is located 60 km west of Vienna and is the hometown of the owner Arthur Schneller. The diverse, tasty cuisine as well as the seasonal, loving decorations have their origins there. WE ARE AIR CONDITIONED!

Tolles modernes und angenehmes Ambiente. Die leichte Klimatisierung lässt einen gerne und lange verweilen. Das Servicepersonal und die Weinauswahl ist super. Mangel: Es waren an einem Abend drei Hunde gleichzeitig in Restaurant vorne anwesend und einer war so groß, dass er in sitzen gleich vom Tisch mitgegessen hat. Das ist unzumutbar für einen gehobene Gastronomie mit sehr gutem Essen.

Immer wieder ein Vergnügen, im Ottenthal den Abend zu genießen. Die Gerichte sind durchweg köstlich und dazu schön angerichtet und in perfektem Maße kreativ. Der Service sehr herzlich und emphatisch und gastfreundlich im besten Sinn. Unbedingt Platz für den Kaiserschmarrn lassen, einfach göttlich…..

Ich mag die entspannte Atmosphäre dieses Restaurants – man fühlt sich wie im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer von Freunden. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, um noch andere Gerichte zu probieren. Das Service Team war zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Amazing experience, we arrived a bit late, however the staff made our experience very smooth. Everyone was so welcoming and hospitable, the food was delicious, a MUST try is the Wiener Schnitzel. Will be back again.
