Boasting Sputnik lighting, terrazzo flooring and redwood accents throughout, Original Joe’s Westlake elicits mid-century America in the likes of Palm Springs, Beverly Hills and Las Vegas. The newly reimagined Cascade Room features show-stopping pimento orange banquettes, and offers a variety of options for large gatherings—from private rehearsal dinners and memorial receptions, to smaller non-private family dinners, class reunions and birthday celebrations. With beautiful custom sliding doors, the Cascade Room can be divided in half, creating two fully private event spaces, accommodating up to 50 guests each.

    It’s been several months since we were last at Original Joe’s. Nice to know that the food hasn’t changed … outstanding as usual. And that goes for the service, too. Original Joe’s does not disappoint!

    We were a party of 5 women celebrating our 75th birthday. We all turned or will 75 this year. The food from start to finish was excellent. The fried calamari was hot, crisp, and tender. The arancini moist and delicious. The entrees were were also delicious. We just had enough room for dessert the warm butter cake, ice cream sundae, and tirimisu. We love our waiter Enrique and he was assisted by best bussing staff. The only con was the noise level.

    We had the best time! My brother and sister-in-law were visiting from out of town and they were so impressed by the decor and raved about the food! 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    ## A delightful family celebration at Original Joe's Westlake! We recently celebrated my daughter's 11th birthday at Original Joe's in Daly City, and it was a fantastic experience! Our party of 6, with a mix of adults and kids, found something delicious to enjoy on the menu. The appetizers are always a real table-pleaser. The calamari was perfectly crispy and light, and the arancini were hot and bursting with flavor. Along with baskets of warm bread smothered in buttery goodness. We all agreed they were the perfect way to start the meal. For the main course, we had a variety of dishes that showcased the menu's delicous variety. The linguini with clams was light and flavorful, a perfect choice for a lighter appetite. The meatballs were classic comfort food, generous in size and smothered in a delicious tomato sauce. For a unique twist, one of our guests opted for Joe's special signature scramble, which they saved half for breakfast in the morning. Another guest enjoyed the spicy rigatoni with prawns, a dish with a satisfying kick. No birthday celebration is complete without dessert, and Original Joe's butter cake did not disappoint! It was rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to a memorable meal. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the evening, ensuring our drinks were refilled, finished dishes cleared and most of our needs were met. The only minor snag was a slight wait for the dessert to arrive. We ordered steaming hot cocoa, cups of coffee and an espresso to sip with our butter cake, but we finished our after dinner drinks well before the dessert arrived. A minor yet bitter marinara stain, on an otherwise wonderful experience. Overall, our dinners at Original Joe's Westlake are always memorable. The delicious food, friendly service, and warm atmosphere made it the perfect place to celebrate my daughter's special day. We'll definitely be back for another enjoyable special occasion soon!!

    It was good. Ambiance was great as it's a beautiful space, but the food was OK. Dover Sole was super bland (I know Dover Sole is mild fish), the Salmon was dry and a tad over cooked - and my chicken Milanese was good, kind of dry (arugala was the savior). The side dishes of raviolis were good. Again, OK, but the prices make you want the food to be better and it just wasn't.

    Always a great time! Celebrated my mom’s birthday tonight. I recommend the espresso martini. sausage rolls as an appetizer. Blue cheese wedge and spicy rigatoni. 💃
