    Many great choices for dinner. Our dinners were excellent. The service was outstanding and the view from the patio eating was fabulous

    The service was good but pretentious. The waiter handed me my card back and said it was good for gas and food. That's a good thing because dining there gave us both food and gas. The food was good but they can keep the snobbish service. There are better places in Waikiki.

    Our experience at Orchids was the best dining experience we have had in years. The service is impeccable, the food is outstanding, and I am still dreaming about their beef tartare appetizer. The ambience is calm and welcoming. We can’t wait to go back for another meal!

    Upscale Waikiki dining. The service was excellent. The risotto and lobster tagliatelle were fantastic. However, the scallops and shrimp not so much. The shrimp was overcooked (for which the server comped the dessert) and it was served on a “compressed” (?) sourdough slice that was very bland and left me wondering “what is this and why is it here?” The signature coconut cake was quite underwhelming. There was nothing really wrong with it. There just wasn’t anything memorable about it. I’ve only been here this one time and, clearly, others have had better experiences. Based only on this one time, for the money, I would go elsewhere.
