The food was amazing. We ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer, the bread was soft and delicious. We ordered several items from the menu and each entree was absolutely amazing. I ordered the mushroom ravioli, and it just melted away. Definitely would go here again!

The food is excellent for a reasonable price. The service is outstanding. We were a group of 6 who was in a big hurry. The waiter and the rest of the staff made sure that we would arrive on time at the ballet we were attending. Our experience was wonderful.

We were running late in traffic, and called, on a Saturday evening downtown they were happy to accommodate us! We love Italian food, my cousin is Italian with grandparents who moved here, so Italian food is his expertise. We ordered 4 different entrees, and all 4 of us agreed it was the best we ever had! Service was excellent! If there was a 5 Star plus option it would look like ➕➕➕➕

We had a reservation and 1 hr in the hostess told us the next group was there and we had to leave! I've never been asked to leave a restaurant. We had to cut our conversation short and pay. Never go back.

The Opera Caffe is becoming our go to restaurant when we have events in Downtown SD, I had the special seafood dish which was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of very flavorful sauce with potatoes and asparagus. My husband had a special pasta dish with duck and truffle sauce that he raved about. We ordered cocktails that were very good and had the appropriate amount of liquor in them. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Very nice. The service was exceptional. We shared a salad and pizza. Their pizza crust is very good. Would definitely go back and try a pasta dish. It is a busy fun atmosphere. Perfect if you are going to Balboa Theater.
