What a lovely place! The food was exceptional. The service was impeccable . This made for an extraordinary experience. They offered really great wines by the glass. The mushroom and scallop risotto is to die for. we dine by candlelight and there were fresh roses at each table. They even had a piano player which made it a truly romantic experience! A true New York restaurant experience. Like old times. Very expensive but if you can afford it, it’s worth it.

A tremendous rip-off. Great ambience, sure. But the food is over-priced and…well…not that good. You could definitely get better value at dozens of other places in Manhattan that are just as romantic. Meanwhile, the Beef Wellington at OIBLTIBS is inedible.

Had a lovely evening, but the food felt a little so so and for the quality definitely on the pricier side. The staff made up for it though

We did the 3 course instead of the 6 course we had the tuna with cucumber and caviar very refreshing and the eggplant with barrata then we had the branzino which was excellent and the chicken cordon blue which was very good , we both had the chicory soufflé which was a perfect finish to a very nice dinner , beautiful place

Went there for mother's day. the ambiance is great, the place is beautiful and they had a live band. However, the food wasn't great to say the least. We got the eggplant Napoleon which was luke warm not hot and needed salt. Then we got the shakshukah and avocado toast which wasn't great either. I would give it one more shot for dinner (maybe its just that their brunch) sucks but if dinner is bad as well no amount of ambiance or live band is gonna make up for mediocre food and not to mention high prices.

The space is beautiful, but the food doesn't keep up with the West Village's competition. For the price, we would've expected more flavorful dishes.
