Under the guidance of the Livanos family and Paul McLaughlin, Oceana has provided New Yorkers with an exceptional seafood destination since 1992.

Oceana delivers a fresh, seasonal, innovative and approachable seafood-forward menu, with additional offerings suitable for any palate.

Oceana has a 70 seat Cafe with a 18 seat marble bar. Great for lunch, after work cocktails & snacks, pre-theater dinner and post-theater desserts. Spring and Summer bring a 50 seat outdoor dining area, private dining options include our Chefs Table for 4, our new Chefs Counter for 6, Wine Room for 18, and our Grand Salon for 80. Full buyouts are also available.

    We dined outside on a beautiful evening. The food was good, the pre-theatre menu was a very good value, and the service was friendly and professional.

    We sat in the private dinning room next to the kitchen and watched the staff prepare the meals. Great service and food, plus a quiet place to sit, relax, and eat.

    The hostess was pleasant and accommodating. Francesca, the server, was efficient and courteous. The wine bottle of my choice was not available, and it took too long to make me aware of this. We were served our main courses prior to knowing the wine was not available and so ordered a glass of wine with our meal. We were comped our wine at meals end.

    the service from our waiter was subpar; much too slow and non-attentive. it took almost one hour between being seated and getting our main entree served.

    We visited Oceana for dinner on a Saturday evening and opted for a table in the lounge due to the busy dining area. Our lounge server, -Miguel, went above and beyond to ensure that our visit was extraordinary, right down to the perfect level of attention, and his above and beyond birthday treat for my mom, which he prepared as gluten free, so I could enjoy as well. Definitely visit Oceana - service and food are top notch and you will not be disappointed.

    Food, service and ambience are all outstanding. The only slight negative is that we thought the entree portion sizes fell a little short for the price being charged
