All was exceptional except for their leniency on dress code. I shouldn’t have to look at an oversized half naked woman. Short shorts and a halter top. Not at all appropriate for dinner. There was also a man dining with a hat on.

Had a great time celebrating my lovely mother for Mother’s Day. Ocean Prime employees made it very welcoming and calming. Our server was amazing and really helped my mom feel welcomed and special on her day. I will definitely recommend Ocean Prime to family members, co-workers, and doctoral college classmates. Again, the server who attended was fantastic, charismatic, kind, and social. He did not make us feel rushed and allowed us to enjoy a delicious meal, drinks and one memory, I will definitely not forget!

Well we didn’t have a great experience. I’ll start with the good and then end with the bad. Our drinks were excellent and so was the French onion soup and so was our server until dinner. My husband ordered the bass which he said was fine. Not amazing and not horrible. I ordered the scallops and the risotto and scallops were so bland I ate two scallops and a tiny bit of the risotto but it wasn’t good. When our waiter came back to check on us he saw my plate and didn’t ask if there was something wrong with the meal. He asked if I was done. For $52 my scallops should have been at least flavorful but no. We have eaten better and more flavorful fish at Gloria’s. Well then we opted for no dessert since our dinners were not great. For some reason our waiter seemed upset by this and didn’t converse with us only to get payment for the meal. I am more than happy paying money for incredible food but this wasn’t. Definitely will not be back.

I booked a reservation for just dessert for me and my significant other’s anniversary. We were greeted with a sweet champagne that paired beautifully with our dessert choices. Stephen, our server was attentive, respectful, and very helpful. He sought to adjust what Ocean Prime had to offer to better suit us in any way possible. On our table, rose petals had been placed and the attention to detail was immaculate. We ordered drinks and a dessert. We were not rushed at all out and we’re able to enjoy time together. When we asked for the check, the staff went above and beyond and had taken very good care of us, and comped our actual dessert. On the way home from the restaurant, we were talking about how fantastic our experience was and I received a call from Ocean Prime saying that they had found my significant other’s phone left in the booth. When I showed up 10 minutes later, they had the phone at the receptionist’s desk charging while we waited! Our experience was incredible and I look forward to returning soon.

Everything we ordered was delicious! Our fave was the lobster man and cheese! My Chilean sea bass was the best I’d ever had! My husband had the ribeye and he loved it!

Celebrated our son’s graduation from MBA program at SMU. Food and service was great. Highly recommend a visit for seafood or steaks.

We have dined here on a number of occasions the past 10+ years, this visit was excellent, as always. The consistency of the service and quality of the food has not waivered over all the years we have been coming here for dinner. We'll defintely be back. Regarding our selections: Shrimp cocktail to start, massive shrimp served up in a cool glass with dry ice smoke rolling out of it, super presentation. I had the scallops the size of small hockey pucks, amazing. and my wife chose the blackened red fish, it disappeared from the plate rather quickly. Our server Rodney was great, very pleasant, attentive, and seemed genuinely interested that our experience was top notch, which it was. Go here, it's awesome.

We have been here many times. It is amazing and frequent patrons know this. Food perfect. Service perfect. BIG PROBLEM! We sat down for our 8:30 reservation and the first thing out of the waiters mouth was “our kitchen closes at 9:00 and the restaurant closes at 9”. If you are going to take a reservations for 8:30 then plan and schedule the kitchen to accommodate and don’t take reservations up to closing time. Shut it down. If a professional couple is going to sit down for quiet evening dinner after a 12 hour day and spend roughly $300 for dinner we do not want to be pressured to leave. I believe Ocean Prime considers itself fine dining. Fine dining establishments do not make their patrons feel like we need to rush through our meal.

They served water that had trash in it and cups were dirty. The staff was kind to compensate the inconvenience but hygiene is such a basic quality that a restaurant shouldn’t miss

We’ve been here a few times and usually it’s very good but the last two times we have went the steak has been tough and overcooked. We are going back.

Happy hour is a really really good deal. Checking out the rest of the menu I wasn’t too keen on the prices, but half off apps, sushi, signature cocktails, and $7 wines is really good. Service was awesome! No complaints. All in all would definitely come back for happy hour (4-6pm)

Beyond disappointed with the lack of service received on my first visit here. I recently moved to the Rosewood Court area and was excited to have an upscale bar to bring friends to within walking distance. We sat with empty drinks for over 10 minutes THREE TIMES IN A ROW waiting for our waitress to come back so we could get another round (the drinks were fantastic which is why we stayed). When we asked for the check after the third time, it took another 10 minutes for one of the hosts to bring the check by and was then processed by another waitress in the bar area and dropped back off. I won’t waste my time sitting in the bar area again unless I can sit at the actual bar.

Five of went on a Tuesday night to celebrate my youngest son's birthday. Although business was slow, so was the service and kitchen. Our reservation was for 7:30 but we didn't get out until 9. This is not in line with previous dining experiences at Ocean Prime Dallas. All of the food preparation was spot on except for my sons' fries, which were overcooked. Based on the items we ordered, including no alcohol, I felt like the price was high for product and service. We will continue to patronize, but this wasn't our most memorable experience.

Never a disappointment! Love the superior quality and selection of menu choices. Great portions too! Always happy to see our favorite server, “hot rod” Rodney. He is top notch and made our visit wonderful!

You can’t go wrong with Ocean Prime, the service is top notch. Fresh oysters, lobster bisque, one of the best steaks! Dont forget the creme brulee. It’s one of our favorite spots in Dallas for dates
