It was meh. I think it used to be better. I'm underwhelmed when I go these days. Had nachos, followed by chicken picatta and a couple of "kids meals" for the kids. All just OK. Service was meh too.

Went for 6pm dinner, we were seated in a booth as asked for. Waiter was extremely friendly. Food was one of the best dinners ever for Not Your Average Joe's, Chicken Milanese. Everything about this dish was excellent. From the chicken, to the potatoes, to the arugula salad, to the tomatoes. There wasn't a scrap left on either of our plates.

The restaurant wasn’t busy and service was smooth. The crab cakes entrée was overpriced. The smoky Joe burger was huge, and tasty, although it came with way too many fries. The meatloaf was a little salty and could have used more gravy to moisten it. Otherwise, everything was great.

Went on Mother's Day and been doing that for years. No specials for Mother's Day, just a "special bonus if you buy a gift card". Service was a bit slow (it is a busier day), food was good, but not spectacular. My wife had the Spring Special Chimichurri Shrimp - $29 for 5 Shrimp on a bed of cauliflower mash and some sparingly placed greens, 3-4 slices of brussel sprouts and some partial leaves - that is closer to an appetizer and the dish is at least $10 over-priced considering what it is. My meal was also good, but priced just a bit higher than it should be in comparison to similar and slightly higher end establishments. A number of menu items and add-ons are reasonably priced, so it seems some of the entrées are disproportionally high. Similar for some of the drinks. My ask - bring back specials for occasions, revisit pricing to match comparatives as well as having a couple good-food-good-value options, and recapture some of the sparkle from years gone by to get back to Way Above Average Joe's.

Our table was ready when we got there. I hadn’t seen my friend in five years, and my server was respective of that and did not rush us out but did let us know when they were closing at 9 PM on a Sunday night. The breaded cod was delicious.

I have lunch at Joe's regularly. service yesterday was slow and poor. new spring chicken dish was burnt on the bottom making the chicken cutlet tough. the blistered tomatoes were burnt, not just blistered. usually i would recommend to a friend, but not this time.

Good food and array of specialty cocktails. My friend and I were able to take our time and have a leisurely dinner. Wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. Had never been here but would recommend for a good upscale casual dinner with friends.
