Drinks were great, food was fine but small portions for the price and VERY slow to come out. Wait staff was a little absent minded and not very attentive- maybe the worst service I’ve had in Austin.

Waited about an hour, so be prepared to wait on busy nights. That said, food and service were worth the wait. Everything was phenomenal.

The server was super sweet and had good energy, but they were potentially understaffed for the evening and every step in the experience took an extremely long amount of time, including getting seated even with a reservation. The food also came out cold.

Awful experience. Our snarky waiter was not helpful, seemed annoyed when asked any questions. The service was so slow that by the time they finally came to take our dinner order, we did not want to wait any longer and we left. Waiter simply said…we’re busy tonight. No tip, wasn’t giving them any more of my money.

Came for drinks and light dinner, so can't speak extensively to the food but the brussels sprouts were great. The drink menu was fun and made for a great girls night. The service was attentive, however I wish that the lighting was a little dimmer in the back room and the music a little louder.

It took the waiter a minute to get to us but the place was packed. Once he got to us he took care of us, not intrusive, but we didn’t want for anything. The hostess answered our “what are the favorites” question when she brought our glasses for our water. Our dilemna was he had a burger for lunch and I had adult grilled cheese elsewhere—so we flipped. My burger was a perfectly cooked medium rare and there were more fries than the two of us could consume. If I had not pushed most of the bun aside, I could not have eaten the whole yummy burger. His grilled cheese was more than he could eat. When we return we will share an entree in order to try an appetizer and/or a dessert

Really great food! We sat outdoors, and the deck was really creaky/vibrating when anyone would walk by. It was our waiter's first day, so he did his best.

I held my Galentine’s Happy Hour at Nightcap and it was so perfect! We had a great table inside with a great view of the bar and outside to 6th Street. The food, cocktails, and wine were delicious! We all ordered shareables and our server did a wonderful job helping us make room on the table. She also made sure our waters were always full and our next drink was ordered before our current one was empty. She was very fun and sweet, and will definitely be invited to next year’s Galentine’s Day outing! :) The prices were definitely reasonable - we all appreciated that. Highly recommend this spot for a Happy Hour or Date Night!

Great place! We loved the charcuterie board, so good. I had the carnitas grilled cheese which was delicious and my husband had the nightcap burger, which he said was good. We also had the banana fosters pudding and both agreed it was delicious. Needless to say we were stuffed and in a food coma afterwards.

My wife and I went for a date night, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! It’s a smaller intimate bar/restaurant and the food (Wagyu) was to die for!! Their espresso Martini’s were also some of the best we have had.

Nightcap was such a wonderful experience. The drinks were phenomenal and the food was excellent. We got the arancini and “I dip, you dip” to start. The arancini was outstanding and the dips were also fantastic. Two appetizers was definitely too much for two people, though. Our waitress was super attentive without being overbearing. The ambiance is lovely, with a good mix of music and not an overly loud atmosphere. We’ll definitely come back!

Our server was very attentive. The place was pretty slow for a Saturday night, so we didn’t have to wait too long for our drinks & dinner. The place is so cute and I love the decor. Would definitely return.

Even with reservations we didn’t get seated for at least 30 minutes. Didn’t get our drinks for another 30 minutes after that. People who were behind us in line got seated, ordered, ate their food and payed the bill and left before we ordered our first drink. Will not be going back.

Loved having my 21st birthday dinner here! Made for a great chill Wednesday night with yummy food & wine with friends. The appetizers were PHENOMENAL and want to go back and try the cocktails because those looked awesome, too. I would recommend this place to anyone! Outdoors area also so cute and fun (we sat inside because it was cold)

This was our first time to Nightcap and definitely a won’t be our last! FANTASTIC happy hour! We sat outside, which was lovely. Great ambiance, fantastic service. The choices on the happy hour food menu were vast, food was delicious and the portions large—we left very happy and very full!

Absolutely loved this place! We made a reservation for a party of 8 to celebrate a friend's birthday and we were greeted with a festively decorated table. Our service was top-notch, the food was excellent as were the drinks, and the ambiance was delightful. I also enjoyed how quiet it was so we could all enjoy each other's company without shouting over background noise. Also, the owner came by and was a delight and so much fun to talk to. She even treated us with a celebratory drink. We will be back!

Nightcap was great! We went on a Wednesday at 8pm, and it wasn't very busy, maybe only 1/3 full. The playlist they had playing was excellent, the ambiance was homey, yet upscale. The food was delicious, and our server (Mahali ❤️) was attentive, quick, and delightful. If the prices were a tad lower, I'd be there weekly! Definitley will have to go back and try out the rest of the menu.

Really love Nightcap. This is our third time there and consistently outstanding. I just don't understand why this place isn't swamped with people, but hopefully the public catches on.
