It was an amazing experience. We surprised my mom for Mother’s Day dinner. She was slightly disappointed by the pre-fix menu but there were a few specials offered that were not on the menu in which she opted for. Also, our reservation was for 8:15pm, we were not provided complimentary bread service because they said they ran out. I know it was a busy day but the bread service should have been portioned for all guests to enjoy. The drinks were fantastic! My mom love the virgin pina colada and I loved the lemon drop. Overall a great experience and would go again!

This place has great views (if you can get a table by the window) but little more. It's poorly run and the food is disappointing. We came at around 7 pm on a Friday evening; the place was maybe half full. It took 10 minutes for a server to show up at our table. We asked for water, which never arrived. We got the Connecticut-style lobster roll, which had tiny chunks of lobster and was very bland. It may have cost 2/3 of what other lobster rolls are around town, but it was not even worth the $26. The french fries were pretty good. I asked for Old Bay seasoning for the lobster roll, and although our pleasant and friendly server said she'd take care of it, that never showed up either. We were hoping to find an out-of-the-way gem, but it's clear they're coasting on the Mill Basin views.

The entire experience was absolutely wonderful!!! Amazing staff! Beautiful decor! Our server Markade was phenomenal! His entree recommendation was truly superb! He is kind, responsive, so professional. You have a true asset in him. Of course the food was outstanding!!! We are already making plans about when and how often we will be returning once weather gets warm. Looking forward to sitting outside. FYI, we plan to request Markade EVERY time we come. 🥰🥰🥰

This was my first visit to Nick's. Our server was very nice. However, the service was very slow; there was a lot of waiting, first for the food then for the check and again for the credit card back from the server. It was busy and they might have been short staffed, hence the long wait. I had the lobster bisque, which was just ok, and the Connecticut lobster roll, which was terrible. The meat was hard to chew and just not appetizing. Someone at the table had the branzino, which they enjoyed and someone else had the lobster tail, which they also reportedly enjoyed.

I've been eating at Nick's Lobster since I was a kid for the past 35 years. I've been eating at Nick's Lobster under the current management since they rebuilt after Hurricane Sandy in 2013. The service and the food 99% of the time doesn't disappoint. However, this last visit to the restaurant had me very annoyed. Our waiter kept us waiting forever to order food, the food took forever to come out, during the meal our waiter never stopped by the table to ask once if we need anything else. We sat at the table for close to a half hour before a different waiter was able to see that we were trying to someone's attention to get more drinks, etc. The other complaint I have about this trip to the restaurant is that the portions which are normally decent in size and quite filling were extremely minimalistic. Two bites and the plates were all empty. The bill came out to over $300 and I wasn't going to tip the waiter for his poor service more than 10%, but the bill came with the gratuity of 18% already pre-billed for a table of 4 people which I wasn't too happy about. I typically always leave a tip of 20-25%. To top it all off the dining experience which should have been approximately 90 minutes at the most, ended up being over 3 hours because the service that Sunday to say the least....sucked!!!! I would otherwise still recommend visiting and dining at this establishment, since most of the time I am not disappointed at all. Hopefully, this was a one off event and my next trip to the restaurant will be as usual.

I’ve been coming to Nick’s for years and it’s absolutely disheartening to see such a dramatic change in quality. In the past, wonderful tasting bread came in bowls with quality napkins. Soup was so great you’d be considering the second bowl before being halfway through the first! This time, the food looked like something from a conventional hall! The 3-4 slices or already small portions of bread was cold and tasteless, the lobster bisque was brown and not tasty, the seafood stuffing seems to be shrinking in size each month, and the unseasoned crab legs were served on a plate with a small portion of butter on the side and the driest baked potato of all time. The oysters and clams were excellent as usual.

Nicks lobster is a very good place to take someone special. They decorated the place for valentines and made it feel intimate. Our server Alejandro was very professional and not overly attentive like other places. Which is a good thing. But he was there when needed! He was the highlight of the whole night. The way he treated me and my wife. We appreciate him a ton! The food was AMAZING! It made everything an even better experience. I would recommend. Because we are sure going back

I had the clam organata for appetizer, it was sandy and fishy. I had the NY strip for entree and it was dry and with lot of tendons which made the steak chewy. Food, overall was only more on the poor side.

First time eating here. My lobster bisque soup was not hot. The appetizer chicken wings with sweet Thai sauce were good. Main entree: the rice pilaf was bland and the stuffed shrimp were awful. Soft drinks are overpriced. Honestly there are much better restaurants to eat for the price we paid.

The inside is beautiful and it sets a nice mood. I ordered the coconut shrimp with mango sauce and it tasted just OK and the sauce was served in a plastic solo cup with the lid on it which made no sense being I was dining in the restaurant. I got the surf and turf and it was the toughest piece of meat I had in years and the butter sauce was served in a solo cup as well. With the bill nearing 300$ with tip I rather try another place even if it cost more. I mite try Nicks again just to see if it was an isolated issue.

Excellent food, very well prepared. Followed our requests, re low salt. Service was super friendly and on point. We did not feel rushed at all. Very good menu focusing on fresh seafood.

Food portion was small but it was good. I didn’t like they sat everyone (3 groups) side by side when it was open tables. One group of 13 was so loud that I could barely enjoy my first time there.

Food was good. Service was good. What was not good was the staff's attention being paid to solve my problem. I am mobility impaired so I get around in a wheelchair accessible van where a ramp comes in and out of my van via a remote control. After taking pretty good care not to park in a spot that would hinder me accessing my ramp in my van after dinner, sure enough someone parked next to me so as to not being able to open my passenger door to be able to open the ramp allowing me to enter my van. It took your staff a good 20-30 minutes to find the owner of the vehicle that was blocking the entrance of me getting back into my van. It was a pretty quiet atmosphere, so all your staff had to do was either go table to table to ask if they owned a car that was blocking me in or just go to the middle of the dining area and get everyone attention to see who owned the car that was blocking me in and to please go to the parking lot to move their vehicle, so I would have room to get in my van.

Ambiance, music, drink was on point but the lobster roll was sad. The meat was almost shredded and dry which was strange but that wouldn’t deter me from going back I just wouldn’t order that again.

Good food, as always. Very happy with the beer selection as they had one of my favs, Estrella Galicia!! Only downside was the lobster crackers did not work well, and they didn’t have lobster picks which made it very diffuse to get at the meat in the claws. Otherwise, everything was fantastic and delicious.
