Regardless what you order it will be delicious. Fantastic. Hospitality at its best. San Francisco cioppino is one of the favorites.

the tuna tartare appetizer was excellent . Adding avocado (sliced) made it even better. The special main course halibut was prepared just right and with mashed potatoes and a hot veggie together was enough to share. With martinis with blue cheese olives , the overall meal and experience were fabulous!!!

Everything was wonderful, as always. Nice servers and hosts, food served timely and we never had to ask for water refills. Spot on chefs and great menu

I love Nicks, we go there all the time. It is extremely loud, and then they were playing music even louder to overcome the room noise. It was kind of painful!!

Always the best food! We've been 3 times. I had chicken piccata with whipped potatoes & tomato salad. It was a huge serving, and DELICIOUS! My husband had the special which was a crusted halibut, whipped potatoes and spinach. it was EXCELLENT. Both dinners came piping hot! We shared a salad prior to this. For dessert, their famous butter cake which was the BEST!!

Food is good, but menu is very ordinary. Had a reservation, but they seated us a half-hour later. Made up for it, though, by comping drinks.

It was our first time at Nick’s but definitely not our last! Great breakfast spot. Started out with mimosas and bloody marys then ordered our meals. I had the chilaquiles, our son and daughter both had the El Jefe burrito, and my husband had the California omelet. Everything was delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly. Though it was a lovely day, I didn’t enjoy sitting out in the patio. The road noise from PCH is loud.

Really enjoyed this restaurant overall. Francisco was such a lovely waiter , greeted with a smile and made wonderful recommendations. The pulled pork sandwich and Crusted Halibut special was delicious

I love love love the shrimp taquitos appetizer, and the quinoa salad is full of amazing flavors and textures. Deep fried deviled eggs are delicious. The service is very good and it’s located right in the middle of downtown Laguna - great for people watching if you sit on the balcony.

Nick is always rocksolid. They have menu items that are well thought out at all price points for a nice restaurant. Whenever I go to Laguna I book Nick‘s well in advance because that would be the one struggle here it’s very popular.

Salmon was overcooked. Server was very unfriendly and seemed inconvenienced with us. Maybe it’s the Laguna Beach location …. San Clemente is much better.

We had an awesome dining experience. Professional yet friendly and easily answered all our questions about the menu. Our food arrived hot, and it was absolute perfection. We could not have asked for better.

I am so happy that Nick's brought back their weekend brunch? I love their chicken and waffles and on this visit I decided to order just the waffles with a side of bacon. The waffles were light with enough crispiness and the accompaniment of fresh berries, whipped cream and maple syrup rounded up the meal. My friend had chilaquiles and the poached egg on top made for a creamy texture of the tortillas. Service was attentive yet not too intrusive.
