Here is a From the moment we stepped through the doors, our experience was truly perfect in every way. The food was simply exquisite - each dish a masterpiece of flavors and presentation that delighted the senses. However, what elevated our already sublime evening to extraordinary heights was the service provided by our waiter. His warm yet unobtrusive manner immediately put us at ease. He was a true professional - attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about every menu item, and deftly anticipating our needs before we could even ask.

The food, service and ambience are excellent. The restaurant has been a Hollywood mainstay for 105 years! The only bad thing was learning that the parking valet charge with validation was $14.

We were disappointed in our booth. It was under an air event and was cold. We were there early and asked to be moved. Additionally, we had a reservation for four but two of our group had to cancel so we were only two and there were plenty of booths for two or four that were empty. We were told that they couldn’t move us because they were fully booked even though there were many empty tables. It didn’t make sense.

We love going to Musso & Frank's when we can. We love the martinis, which were excellent as always. However, the prices went up but about $3 each, which was sticker shock when we got the bill. The glass of white wine was also perfect. And the buzz is always energetic and decor nice. I always get the grilled trout. Unfortunately, trout is no longer on the menu. The sand dabs were a poor substitute, sadly. It says sauce meunière but seems to be pre-made sauce rather than fresh butter. I would have gotten the branzino but the sauce description was too weird and the waiter didn't offer that they could leave it off. Other things were off with the food as well -- the bread and butter were both hard, as if they had just come from the freezer. The olives and parmesan appetizer was dryer than usual. The sauerbraten special was a little tough. We chalked it up to the Wednesday chef. But also a small bowl of creamed spinach was $16 -- more sticker shock. The service was also off. Our waiter seemed to be rushed and didn't really seem to care, which is a change from previous times. There were too many green-coat waiters who didn't seem to have enough to do so they kept clearing our plates prematurely and gruffly. They took bread plates after the appetizer though bread was still on the table. They asked if we wanted to keep the bread and butter but took the knives. And they were rather gruff about it all instead of friendly, like we did something wrong. Finally, when paying the check, some man in a suit came out of nowhere to pick it up when we hadn't even put in our credit card. It was weird. Who was he? And why did he come out of nowhere to get the check, then left? Anyway, not the best M&F experience. Wish they would bring the trout back and also have more red-coat waiters so there are enough to care about their tables rather than green-coats who have little to do and don't interact well with the tables. This is also a change from the recent past when they were nice too.

I've been here many times. Usually when I'm bringing visitors from out of town. This restaurant never disappoints.

This was our first visit at Musso &Frank’s and it was so much fun with the high energy in this place. Our waiter was very pleasant and polite. The food was exceptional. I had the veal dinner ( it could have definitely fed 2 people). My husband had the striploin steak and it was so juicy and he enjoyed to the last bite. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will absolutely go again. Thank you so much to the whole entire Musso &Frank Grill team.

Over the top good service. Delighted my Grandson on his 21st birthday with a surprise cake and candle.. he said it's the best New York steak he ever had! tons of French fries too! Food fantastic Excellent courteous service and as he's a film student at USC was delighted to be in such an historical landmark with such rich Hollywood film history.... Thank you so much Musso and Frank!

Hello...I had the dinner salad, spaghetti, and meatballs. The salad was limp, and the flavor could have been better. The spaghetti and meatballs were pretty good. My wife had a Filet, and she enjoyed it. The service was average. This was our second time dining here, and I don't see us returning anytime soon. Thank you.

I've been to chain steakhouses and not one could correctly cook their good cuts when I replied "chef's choice" until now. I ordered the bone-in ribeye while mom got the lamb chops and both were cooked exactly how they should have. While not a chain, the chef cooked my ribeye as perfectly as one could with the right amount of rarity inside while the outlet had grill marks but tender enough to chew. Although I didn't get the hollandaise sauce for my to go asparagus, I'll give it pass this time because of how perfect the meats were cooked. Will definitely come here again.

Love to go to Musso & Frank after seeing shows at the Pantages. The food is always delicious, the staff are always accommodating and everyone I take usually go back on their own.

EVERYTHING was divine. It was the bestMothers Day date with my son. The Filet Mignon's did not disappoint. The mashed potato,creamed spinach and sauteed mushrooms were perfect. The martini and red wine were fantastic. The only hard thing is getting in ! But somehow , we got lucky THANK YOU !!

We have gone to Musso & Frank's a couple times and it has always been a pleasurable experience. The staff are always friendly and happy to share the history of the restaurant. This most recent visit was one of the best so far, everyone greeted us with a warm smile and especially our waiter "Ryan" was very nice and informative about the food, drinks and history of our booth and the restaurant. Great experience. Thank you, we will visit again and definitely recommend.

A bucket list moment to be seated at the famous restaurant! Food exceptional, Martini as I imagined. The card to celebrate our anniversary on arrival beautiful. The server unfortunately was not as attentive as others appeared. He brought dessert and greeted “Happy Birthday “ . When we advised it was our anniversary , his reply was “ I was not paying attention “ not what I expected to hear! The support staff were super attentive though! It will not put me off returning!❤️

When a restaurant has been around for as long as Musso & Frank’s has, it’s for a reason. The food is delicious, the staff is lovely, and the ambiance is cozy. I’ve lived in LA for almost 20 years but never visited for fear of it being a “tourist trap”. Now that I’ve been, the only thing trapped is my heart. Will definitely go back and sad I waited this long!

Always a treat to eat at this perfect place! Best Scallop Dish I’ve had anywhere - fantastic, and the service can’t be be beat! Musso & Frank define hospitality from check-in to check!!!

We were looking forward to this so much but we’re very disappointed . The service was excellent and my slow roast rib excellent. However the sardines are tinned, the fries with the meal were not freshly cooked and had been reheated, the spaghetti was overcooked and the seafood risotto had very little seafood.

I think when a restaurant has so much hype it's hard to live up to the expectations. I'm sort of "old school" and have worked in restaurants for several years so my standards might be too high (I think I'm pretty reasonable honestly, smiles, eye contact and timely service...) but it seems like most places of this nature don't really offer "great" service anymore, it was mediocre at best and nothing impressive which is fine but also wished it was a little more intentional when the prices are higher than what most would expect for "average" service/experience. The food was delicious and I would go back but I'm not actively seeking my next visit which bums me out after having heard such great things.

We love going to musso and franks but tonight seemed very noisy and service was not as good as usual. Food was excellent as always but we waited a longer time than usual for our food and we had to ask for refills on tea. Brought our family to show the place off and the food didn’t disappoint !

Lived in LA all my life..first time coming here..wont b the last..it was like stepping back in time..everyone was so friendly & the service was outstanding. Unlike so many restaurants. I love everything about this place. The au gratin potatoes were like grandma made them. The architecture/maitre D’s..it was an experience to remember..

This iconic restaurant is my favorite place to dine for my birthday. I love the variety of old, original selections with newer favorites. The bar is second to none when it comes to classic cocktails. This is classic, old Hollywood dining at it's best.

Usually, the Rib Eye is extremely good! Partnered with Truffle Mac & Cheese and your favorite veggie, it becomes a meal for the ages! Unfortunately, our last encounter with the Rib Eye left us a little disappointed. It happens every now and then, and the staff was incredible in accommodating us. Will definitely be back again!
