We will begin our evening in the Seance Lounge with conversation and Yellowtail Crudo among other hors d’oeuvres paired with a crisp Daou Rose. Great experience overall. Would go back. My boyfriend had shrimp and grits and it was delicious. My pork chop was good but on the dry side. Sides were a bit sweet but overall it was good. Would go back again.

We love this place and come as often as we are in New Orleans but this time the pork chops were undercooked and the food was underwhelming-everything else was great-we loved the upstairs lounges and seance rooms!

The waiters were great. It was people like the maitre d who scolded us for a hat on the head of my friend, a time limit for the end of brunch, and $55 for a standard meal in the middle of the day! We used to love Muriel's! Sigh...

Had reservations for Mothers Day. The three course menu was perfect. They had other options for the kids. The gentleman playing music was a great addition. The kids really enjoyed that. Food was delicious. Probably the best meal I have had in New Orleans. The pork chop and the ribeye were seasoned and cooked perfect. Great job to the server team.

Wonderful Mother’s Day jazz brunch! Appetizers, entrees and desserts. Lovely presentation and very adequate amounts. Crawfish cakes. Gnocchi with bolognese and pecan dark chocolate tart were delicious! Will visit again for sure!

Truly mystical and magical! The service was excellent. The food was authentic and delicious. The ambiance was so much fun! Make sure to take time on the balcony with a beverage. And the Seance Lounge is the real deal!

We had a great brunch here, service was excellent and the food and drinks were top notch. Best grits ever and creole touches with our wild mushroom omelettes. Atmosphere was very comfortable and we loved the design and colors throughout the restaurant

Cute place with lots of charm. We had one server for food and one for drinks, which was odd because it felt like there was a lag. Menu is interesting. Most items are on a prefixe list, but you can order all of those items a la carte (without knowing the price). Food was ok, but I wouldn’t go back

I would highly recommend ordering the Dijon crusted salmon which had a nice crunch on top with the panko crumbs and a creamy texture with the Dijon and the salmon was well seasoned. I'd also highly recommend the pecan crusted bread pudding which was the best bread pudding I have ever had! The service was wonderful and the ambience was elegant and decorative. The restaurant was lively and friendly to dine in at.

The drinks and food servers were attentive and couldn't be more accommodating. The food was excellent, and the portions were perfect. The Hurricaine cocktails were also perfect. Lovely atmosphere, and although it did cost a little extra, it was worth every penny. Highly recommend a visit.

Amazing! The bread pudding lures me back to Muriel’s each time I’m in New Orleans. The shrimp crepes and strawberry palmer drink were fantastic and service was outstanding!

Muriel's was one of the best restaurants we have ever visited. The staff was attentive, the ambiance was classic and historic, and the food was simply amazing. We had one vegetarian in our group and the menu had plenty to offer the vegetarian as well as the meat eater. As an added bonus, Muriel's comes with its own resident ghost! You don't want to miss this place when visiting New Orleans.

This restaurant has a great location. My husband and I had a great dinner. We had several dishes and they were all very different and delicious. We started with the burrata and eggplant compote and the egg rolls which had a very rich and salty sauce. We dipped the table bread in it and it was exquisite. Later we had the fillet with wedged potatoes and broccolini, asparagus and roasted cauliflower with quinoa (this was a good dish but I could have used more). For dessert, we are typically a chocolate people, but we tried both the chocolate cake, which had an ice cream scoop with warm praline pecans and the pudding bread which was highly recommended and would totally eat again. So soft, caramel filled and cinnamon filled too.

FABULOUS dining experience. Our party of four arrived half an hour before our reservation, and we didn’t expect to be taken in. We asked if there was any possibility of being taken early. They were extremely gracious, and did provide us with a spacious table for four by the window!! That totally set the tone of the whole evening that was perfect in every way, the food from appetizer to dessert was delectable. Wine and mixed cocktails were delicious. And the service was perfect. If we lived nearby we’d be a regular. Thank you Muriel’s and the staff for a wonderful evening dining experience.

The service was very poor. Completely messed up the order even after a lengthy wait for the food. The front dining room is extremely loud which makes conversation very difficult. Would not recommend to anyone.

We waited SO long to get our lunches, that we almost left. Upon asking what was happening, the food immediately appeared but cold. It obviously had been sitting out somewhere but the waiter didn’t bother getting it to us. No apologies were made!

Five of us went to lunch on Saturday of Jazz Fest, overall great experience marred slightly by one waitress who was less than friendly. However, this was made up for by rest of staff who were great. Lunch was enjoyable with fun cocktails and good food - tried the turtle soup for first time, which was very good. However, the real winner was going upstairs after lunch - fantastic lounge/seance room is beautiful, with great background ghost story to accompany it. It is a must see that we would have missed except for a great waiter who came by at the end of lunch. Don't miss this if you go.
