Le chef Michael Psilakis propose une cuisine d'inspiration grecque primée à Westchester avec l'ouverture de son restaurant MP Taverna, une interprétation moderne d'une taverne grecque traditionnelle. C'est une autre façon de renforcer l'objectif du chef qui est de mettre la cuisine grecque sur la grande scène culinaire. « Les souvenirs que j'ai de la cuisine avec ma famille m'ont énormément inspirés pour la création de mes restaurants et j'espère que les personnes qui viendront se restaurer au sein du restaurant créeront leurs propres souvenirs à travers leurs expériences culinaires au MP Taverna », dit le chef Michael Psilakis. « Je veux que le MP Taverna soit une destination pour plus qu'un simple repas de fête, un endroit qui évoque la convivialité de votre table de salle à manger à la maison ».

    A great restaurant on all counts. Fabulous food, friendly waiters, wonderful to see the chef/owner visit each table. Great spot. Met my friend from the city who came off MetroNorth and within minutes had a cocktail in hand! Doesn’t get better than that.

    I ordered the swordfish which was delicious. My son had the steak & Greek sausage which he thoroughly enjoyed.

    My table of four celebrated Mother's day at MP Taverna and despite the crowd, the service and food were great as always. The lamb shank is a favorite and the complimentary cannolis were a nice finish to a great meal.

    We've been to MP Taverna a few times now and we've loved it every time. The food, atmosphere, and service are all excellent.

    We love MP Taverna. And love it even More when Michael Psilakis is on the floor. He was involved in the operations all night. Even took my drink order and showed an associate how to sweep up some spilled calamari. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great experience. Psilakis is the man!

    Dinner the night before Mother's Day, obviously much more crowded than our usual visits but still the kitchen so efficient, staff so competent and food so well presented and so to taste spiced. Every dish worth mentioning but special mention to the roasted tomato, yogurt & feta appetizer. The only problem after the appetizer not much room for the entree. Our favorite restaurant

    Good food but took a long time. Would have been nice if the waiter warned us of a long wait so we can order more appetizers or provide us with a bread basket or something. Also the floor was so slippery that our chairs kept sliding during the meal. A bit hazardous situation in my point of view.
