We have been coming here from the beginning many years ago and it always feels like coming home. It’s great to be able to have different experiences like burger at the bar, sharing small plates on a week nite, or a full blown nice dinner with affordable bottle of quality wine. We have also had special events there as well. It’s always quality in every way…..

Great menu, great service! Nice selection of wines and some interesting martinis. We almost tried the Brazilian Chocolate martini but went with Monomoy punch instead, which was very refreshing. The pork chop and scallops pappardelle were delicious and both were perfectly cooked and beautifully prepared. Duck fat Brussels sprouts went beautifully with the pork chop. It’s worth mentioning that the structure was built around 1775, so while it has great atmosphere, it’s a small space with low ceilings so got a bit loud as more people showed up and the bar became crowded. While not a concern for some people, if hearing is a problem for anyone in your party, just plan to get there earlier in the evening. Overall, one of the best meals and dining experiences we’ve had on the Cape!

We went for brunch on Easter Sunday. It was delicious, the service was impeccable and atmosphere is charming. We look forward to eating here again. 😀

Lovely evening and fabulous food. There was a large party that was very loud; but all were having a great time. All the food was delicious, as were the martinis!

We really enjoyed our dinner in the bar room. Good energy, friendly, attentive waitress and our braised wild boar shank was delicious. I would definitely go back.

Food was great. My wife and I hadn't the tomahawk pork chop. Our guest had a shellfish stew. Both choices were great. The quality was excellent and servings were generous.

Our first time there, and it won't be the last. Service was exceptional they make you feel valued as a customer. Menu was diverse and great, our food choices excellent, preparation to presentation. The butternut curry soup was delicious, the tomahawk pork chop perfectly done. A few special requests or handled almost intuitively. Great experience!

Spectacular. We had the fresh spring roll - so good and filled with veggies and shrimp. The scallops with pasta was sensational. Definitely recommend. Excellent service and value. Great evening in a wonderful setting.

The drinks, food and service were great, as usual. My husband told me that the scallops were cooked to perfection. I love the piece of grilled salmon I ordered.

This was our second visit to Mooncusser’s. It definitely wont be our last. Mooncusser’s provides welcome relief from the monotony of Cape Cod dining: not a snooty upscale place, nor a clam shack, nor a burger place, nor a bar with disappointing food. All the employees and the owner seem to radiate warmth and good vibes. Food is delicious, and preparations are just different enough from the local fare to be interesting, without being difficult to imagine how it might taste. Just the right amount of novelty, and very well-prepared. Go, and relax, and enjoy!

Really disappointed with our most recent dinner at Mooncussers. We’ve had a number of good dining experiences there. This time, the “field greens” salad had only arugula and scant amounts of other ingredients, the $41 boulabase had2 shrimp, 2scallops, a tiny piece of cod a few mussels and bread. The salmon dinner was okay. We won’t be in a hurry to head back for another meal there.

Food was delicious. Had the duck fat Brussels sprouts and fries for openers. The Caesar salad with shrimp featured four very large shrimp and white anchovies. The braised wild boar shank was moist and meaty. It was well complimented with mashed potatoes and garlic lemon asparagus. Waiter was also great. Very amicable.

We had a wonderful dinner last evening…great food: Caesar Salad, two of us had sea scallops with pasta and two of us had grilled salmon. We shared homemade fruit sorbet for dessert. Started with martinis, then had Sancerre with dinner. Service was friendly, prompt and professional. Highly recommend Mooncussers Tavern!

We would try again, loved the atmosphere and staff, all very friendly and down to earth. Brussel sprout appetizer was amazing except for the hard bites of something. Entrees were good and dessert was as well. Thank you

My first time , I sure wish I had been in sooner! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, our server was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious! For a busy night( valentine day dinner) it was so good to be able to talk to each other, since the acoustics were so good. Very much looking forward to returning.

I've eaten at Mooncussers many times, and have never been disappointed. The food and service are always the best! Not inexpensive, but I always feel it's worth it, and look forward to a special treat!

Our first meal at Mooncussers. Why did we wait so long? Delicious food (Caesar salads, salmon entree, pork chop entree), the building and dining areas have “old world charm”, our server was delightful and welcoming. A lovely experience in so many ways. We will return after their winter break (Jan 1 through early Feb)!

It’s been a while since we had been at Mooncussers. We ate in the bar area, table for 3. Noise level was moderate, what you expect in bar, but it was lively and not over the top. We liked the atmosphere. Food was excellent, service was quick, friendly, professional. I had steak frites (my fave and not disappointed), my guests had the salmon (big portions) and the burger. Both thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Definitely going back.

Table was ready when we arrived. Hostess seated us at our reserved table. Server was pleasant. She did a good job being available for our drink requests. Food was delicious. We were one of the lasts couples who left that night. It was an all around great night to spend with friends.
