Founded in 2006, MoCA formed a philosophy of dining and cuisine guided by the dynamic balance between the cherished traditions of Asian cultures, with thousands of years of history, and the universally human spirit of innovation that is nourished best by these great traditions.

The name “MoCA” comes from “Modern Concept of Culinary Arts.” The MoCA team approaches cooking as an artistic endeavor, devoted to presenting modern, healthy dishes with artistic principles of color, fragrance, balance, and overall presentation.

Overall a nice experience and decent food but I wouldn’t be a regular here. A pretty hectic environment even before the dinner hour. Adding music is nice but contributes to the high noise level & chaos. Whole Peking Duck at 78 dollars is a lot for the size of this hen, I mean Duck. And it comes w 4 small drumsticks. Typically a whole Duck can serve 4+, this is really enough for 2. Excellent cocktails though. Not a bad choice in an area without many sit down spots that seemed appealing and were not pub like

Loved MoCA Asian Bistro in Forest Hills- great ambience, graft service, everything we tried on the menu was skillfully prepared & delicious- good for pre- Forest Hills Stadium events(easily walkable- also good for family get- togethers ( separate eating areas) & date nights-

awesome restaurant they never disappoint. Danny our waiter is the BEST waiter I've ever seen has the answer to all your questions and is very polite, wish all waiters were like him. Frank the GM is also great easy to talk to JUST LOVE THIS PLACE

The quality of the cuisine is always very high. We had the Malaysian Fried Rice with Shrimp & Crispy Duck with Bao buns and they were both excellent in taste!

Everything was fine the place was busy on Friday night. The only thing I don’t like is that they don’t bring all appetizers at once and also the entrees. It is weird if you have a party of 5 not to be served at once. The same was actually with drinks. They brought 5 drinks in 3 separate trips. Otherwise it was fine.

This is one of my favorite Asian restaurants to go to. Have you won? Is super friendly. The fish is always fresh. Service is great and the food is even better. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Food is always delicious and the server was great, but the hostess was not very accommodating. We had requested a booth seat in our reservation and they did not seem interested in honoring it, even though I was literally looking at an open table that would have fit our needs. I went back to the front desk and told them again and they said "show me". After I did I was begrudgingly seated. I get that it was valentines day and they are busy, but a little less attitude would have been nice.

Food was rushed out . We kind of had to stuff things down fast. if I go again I will tell them,yes I want good service but I don’t want you to kick us out in 50 minutes.

Amazing experience, our waiter Pasang was outstanding. He was very attentive and made the experience 10/10. Will definitely be returning and requesting to be seated in his area.

Went for restaurant week and was so impressed. Great Value for the food and excellent wine selection. I will definitely be back. We waited a while for a waiter to attend us but also did not feel rushed. Great for a date !

Food was Pretty much a standard to your typical asian rolls, sashimi, and grilled dishes. Overpriced but the ambiance was nice.

We requested a booth near the front of the restaurant in our reservation. Upon arrival, we were immediately told “no” even though booths were open. Service from Passang was excellent - much more customer centric than the reception people. Peking duck is always consistently good.

My neighborhood go to for Asian fusion. Love the hot dishes as well as the sushi. Beautiful atmosphere and thoughtful service.

This is an unexpectedly great place in Forest Hills. Regardless of the dish (and there are Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Korean options) everything I've tried so far has been excellent. Plus the second time I showed up a week later, Claire remembered *exactly* how I ordered my martini, and made sure it was perfect! She is an outstanding server, and so far every experience at MoCA has been great.

Food was great, but a little overpriced for what it was. Service could have been better, our waitress wasn’t very attentive. I had to ask someone to find her so we can get our check and head out. When she finally came, she asked if I want to tip now or later. It came off a little rude since she was watching me select the tip amount as well. (I always tip well, it just left a bad taste in my mouth when she forced my hand on it.) Overall, good food, the signature rolls are definitely overpriced for what it is, and service was not great.
