Exquisitely creative food - really enjoyed our experience there. Lovely ambiance as well. I had the Professor Plum cocktail and it was delicious and well balanced. Had brussels sprout kimchi which was decent but the Mexican Pork small plate and the beef tartar small plate were incredible - lots of complex flavors which matched up nicely together. I had the fish etouffee which was very good and my husband, a scallop connoisseur, got the scallops and was very impressed. wonderful evening out for us!

We were entertaining a guest from Copenhagen and chose Mistral as it normally delivers. We asked for the Elements menu ( though we were sitting in the restaurant) the 2 dishes- scallops and a salad of local greens were both underwhelming. The salad seemed to have no 'plan' behind it and the chopped up ? don't know exactly did not add to the experience. There was no dressing to pull it together but a lump of burrata. The scallops with mushrooms were oversalted and I like salt.

My fish was shiny inside - raw, was not supposed to be, so I returned it. Ordered scallops. They were tasteless and had sand in them.

It was an absolute pleasure to dine at Mistral. Our server was fantastic! The food was beyond delicious! Will definitely be returning 💜

This was our fifth or sixth time dining at Mistral. Dinner was decidedly mediocre this time. It seems as if the regulars in the kitchen had all gone on vacation. We ordered the salmon crudo, the kale salad, the Peruvian poussin, the agnolotti, and oysters. None of it was remarkable but the agnolotti fell somewhere between disappointing and outright offensive. It came in a soupy concoction, unlike prior times, with an overwhelming amount of sundried tomatoes despite having pleaded in advance with our slightly overbearing waiter that they go easy on the tomatoes. The salmon crudo was…well…crudely made. It is as if they dropped cappers on large slobs of salmon and put them on a plate. When we told the waiter, whom we recognize from our last visit, that the consistency of the food had changed, he claimed that he was unaware of any changes in the kitchen. That is why I doubt we will ever go back. The place looked unusually empty last night. Perhaps, other diners have already come to a similar conclusion!
