The service and ambiance was outstanding. The food was well prepared and fresh. Music was loud at times, but was adjusted when request was made of server. Price fixed $29.95 was a good value for lunch.

Food was great, hostess was not at all friendly thankful we asked for the mgr who was very nice and helped. Service was very slow he seemed a bit overwhelmed .

This place has gone way downhill. Place was fairly empty for a Friday night. All new staff in every position from bus boy to manager and everyone inbetween. Servers seem very stressed and not experienced which is not acceptable for an “upscale restaurant”. Food quality is not what it was a few months ago. We will not be returning.

My husband and I had one of the best meals ever since covid. A lot of places we have gone to, have been ok..I had a plain steamed lobster. My husband had the sushi. We’ve been coming to Mill Pond for years but i dont think i ever left a review. I would go here any day of the week. Food has always been great.

We had dinner at Mill Pond House on Saturday. The food and service was incredible. Raphael, our server, couldn’t have been more accommodating. Wevhighly recommend this restaurant.

Over the past few years Mill Pond has been going steadily downhill. The menu offered a special of the night of twice cooked crisp half duckling. What arrived on my plate was unacceptable. There were two pieces of leg/thigh pieces instead of a half duckling, including a breast/wing. One was black- burned and the other was rubbery. Both had a thick layer of fat under the skin. Not anything I could eat and at $46 nothing I wanted to eat. It was sent back to the kitchen and I ordered a sushi roll which was ok. The staff is good overall but they need a new chef.

A great time! The menu was varied and innovative. Delicious cocktails Generous portion size. Impeccable service. Even though it was very busy for the Easter holiday, the entire staff made sure that every request we had was met, and with a smile I and my entire party were very impressed with Mill Pond’s attention to detail. I highly recommend dining at Mill Pond House. We will definitely return to celebrate another special occasion.

Went there many times over the years. Last time not great this time horrible. Brought out main meal while still eating appetizers. Wife sent steak back still too red and came back still too red. Request desert cheese cake and said twice no fruit drizzle on it. Came out with fruit drizzle on it. Horrible experience. Understand why the last two times place almost empty. Just as a final note ceasar salad is anything but a poor excuse for salad.

We've been going to the Mill Pond for 3 decades. Dinner and the service was excellent, as usual. Be aware, however, that not all of the menu items and prices you find on Open Table are available or at the same price at the restaurant.

Wife and I had an enjoyable evening at Mill Pond House. We enjoyed the cocktails, oysters and our meals. There were many options on the menu that we said out loud, that we have to come back to try. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Do not be afraid of cold temperatures and the outside room of Mill Pond. We ate there last Saturday night ( we go there all year long) and there was no problem asking for and getting a window table looking out over the beautiful Centerport waters. The food was outstanding as usual, my Serventi Tuna is my go-to dish. Always attentive service with Maitre D passing by often.

Mill Pond is not the same anymore. All new staff, changed menu. The price fixe lunch has less options and many are +8 or 10. Very disappointing.

We went on New Year’s Eve with a reservation and the staff kept forgetting our orders and we were there for three long hours, understaffed and very unprofessional. We will not be returning, this place has gone down hill .

They did not advertise that they would have a limited menu for Christmas Eve. The choices featured on the pre fixed menu were not appealing to us. It differed from their daily menu, which we happen to like. They did have a few choices off their regular menu, but again, nothing as substantial as the regular menu. The table next to us didn’t seem happy either. The steak offered was a beef Wellington, and the prime rib was switched to a cowboy ribeye which was full of fat. I ended up with a chicken pasta dish, when I had really been hoping for a surf and turf option. No lobster tail on the Christmas Eve menu at all. Disappointing.

Mill Pond has a is a lovely Ambiance overlooking the harbor. The Filet Mignon was like butter with an accompaniment of bernaise sauce. We shared the creamed Spinach with was tasty. My husband and I started off with the wedge salad, which was large enough for us to split. This restaurant is one of our favorite places to eat. The staff is always attentive and they do not rush you out.

Food choices and meals were dissapointing.. drinks… disappointing…. Cocunut shrimp app only good part of meal but only came with 3…. Waitress should have told us that.. we were party of four…. Menu much diff than last time we were there in summer…very dissappointed…

Everyone from valet staff to food runners to management were extremely friendly. Bartenders were a bit scattered. Some of our food was barely lukewarm and the owner/manager was kind enough to comp one of our drinks.

Waitstaff was pleasant and efficient even though short staffed. View was lovely but overall the food was lacking. The fish dish was decent but the seafood bolognese was lackluster as well as the barbecued burnt tips which were nothing like advertised. The desserts were lovely and not overly sweet. With the amount of money spent, I expected a higher quality of food.

David was our server and he was very good. Our food, tuna, was prepared as requested.

Always a pleasure going to Mill Pond. Food is for the most part consistently good. Place can get a bit noisy when sitting outside. But the view is lovely and the service was attentive and friendly.

I was very disappointed with the service and my fish was over cooked and dry. We had to wait an exceptionally long time for our entrees and the side was not served until we asked for such. I had looked for to eating at Mill Pond again but was so disappointed!!

We had a table reservation but decided to sit at the bar....we were sitting at the bar for about 25 minutes before we were asked if we wanted something to drink. Once we ordered drinks it was another 20-25 minutes before we got them...our food order never came...once our server realized this our food was brought relatively quickly...she was extremely apologetic about the entire evening....once the food came it was amazing ( shrimp tempura roll/shrimp scampi/rigatoni alla vodka and chicken)...Weve been there before...will just chalk up last night as a once in a while mishap
