We are North Central Florida's farm-to-table, local, sustainable foods restaurant. Operated by Bert and Tara Gill, Mildred's offers a seasonally changing menu highlighting what is available locally.

Offering quality and freshness with no shortcuts, our team prepares each dish from scratch.

We serve local produce and fresh Florida seafood every day. We also feature a full bar, an award winning wine list and homemade cakes and cheesecakes.

Mildred's is proud to say we serve Gainesville's best food! We are also in the Golden Spoon Hall of Fame for our dedication to great food and service year after year.

Reservations for lunch are not necessary.

Food was excellent. Being a vegetarian I wasn’t sure what options I’d have. Mildred’s put together a falafel and veggie entree that was excellent. My partner had the salmon which was also excellent. Dinner was packaged in a 3 course meal. We left feeling very full and very satisfied. Would definitely return.

Mildred's did not disappoint. Every bite was scrumptious and we will be coming back again and again. Absolutely wonderful flavors and service.

This is a must try hidden gem. The food was amazing. The service was outstanding. I will return.

My wife had a lamb dinner that was mostly fat. My salmon dinner was very good.

Outstanding food!! I have come here 5 times in the last 8 months. My dinners have been exceedingly delicious. The three course meal at $46 is good value (though it has increased in price over that time) Because it is not too noisy it is a great place for dinner when you want to talk to your dinner companions. Highly recommend

Truly the best restaurant in Gainesville. Service was fabulous - food the best I have had in a long time. Beautiful mesh of flavors and the desserts were outstanding. Don’t miss this experience! .

Made a very enjoyable dinner celebrating a graduation. Although the menu is quite small for Mildred’s, they were very accommodating with offering additional choices from the Lunch menu. Service very attentive and the food was delicious.
