Everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered several appetizers to share and they were all fantastic. Our mains were also great!

Chef Mike’s worldview, aesthetic, palette, and culinary skills harmonize to achieve a consistently superior gastronomic experience: YUM! Diner’s with special food requests & restrictions are graciously accommodated. The front of house staff are well trained, so the service is balanced as friendly while impeccably professional. Whenever I visit NYC, I make a reservation to eat a delicious meal, in a convivial setting (fully renovated January 2024) at Mike’s Bistro.

Meatball appetizer although delicious was not hot. Main dish portions were on the small side. We had a side table with plenty of space from other diners but the noise level was very high making it very difficult to hear the four guests at our table. The tip policy is very confusing. Prices are raised to reflect better wages to the staff but after inquiring we were embarrassed to feel that tipping was up to us, and we could not add the gratuity to the credit card, only cash. We left feeling we were part of a visit a switch scheme.

Really enjoyed our experience. One of the starters was cold, but this was rectified immediately and Mike the owner came over and spoke to us. Mike, the owner came round to every table, and this was very good.

This place is on another level. Food is outstanding. Service is outstanding. Ambiance is outstanding. The decor is very homey. Definitely a must visit place.

Wow wow wow!!! This newly renovated restaurant is so beautiful!!! We we’re thrilled to be back! The food was beyond amazing and of course the staff were the nicest!!! Can’t wait for our next date night!!

We've been there several times before, and was amazing. Service. Food. And all. This time... since they renovated... food was nothing special, nothing to take a second bite out of. The service was really bad. The waiter who served us was busy talking to his freind, and didn't refill or catch anything hints that we were not enjoying. And when he finally refilled, he poured the still water guest with sparkling, and sparkiling guest with still. We were in and out within an hour or so.

The pasta was delicious as was the tuna poke nachos. The deserts were very elevated. We enjoyed Mike’s tremendously!

Just re-opened after a flood from a pipe on a floor above. Restaurant does not miss a beat. Food and service are excellent. We had a private room without even asking so there was essentially no background noise. Mike stopped by to visit. Highly recommend.

Everything about the experience was superior. Pleasant and comfortable environment. The food wellprepared. Beautifully plated and promptly served. Service was especially good. Can’t say enough about the experience. Waiter noticed that my wife was not happy with her cocktail, and even though she said nothing, he prepared and presented a much better version of that drink. We were delighted.

Really nice restaurant! Five stars in not enough starts to depict that! The atmosphere was perfect unlike other noisy restaurants, Mikes Bistro was relaxing and quite noise level. The menu is great! Thats a whole other story (:
