Hosted my family from Hawaii for a scrumptious Ribeye steak dinner. We truly enjoyed it! They were impressed and said that they would go there again when they return to visit.

We made our reservation for patio seating 3 days before, they said we would have to eat inside, never informed me patio was not available prior to arrival. Put down that we were celebrating a birthdate, never acknowledged that, even though they you asked on the reservation if we were there was a special occasion. Food was not good.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Midgley's Public House last night. We both had the salmon and shrimp, and they were delicious! We had the avocado fries for an appetizer, and I highly recommend them! Waitress was excellent, and the service was outstanding. We will be back!

This was my first time going to Midgley’s in the Lincoln Center… we went for drinks and a light appetizer and both were amazing. Our waiter Preston was theeee best! The drinks were flowing, the atmosphere was relaxing.. and it was an overall good time. I am definitely going to go back again soon.

Great food at a reasonable price point. Ordered the asparagus cigar appetizer, a ribeye, a tomahawk, and two beers. All the food was great and the service was solid. Good experience all the way around. With tip, dinner was roughly $250.

Everything was great but felt like I was being forced and rudely interrupted constantly multiple times to hurry by the same waitress. Made my dating experience with my partner cut short and awkward. Not a dating restaurant, I do not recommended this place for couples trying to have a great time together. Food was great but service was kinda rude. Thank anyways I won’t be returning any time soon.

overall a good experience. food was very good. service was average...had to wait longer than I would have thought when the place was not crowded. no real big complaints, just hoped it would have been better. not our first time...other times were a better event.

The menu is repetitive and the service is inattentive. Almost all the entrees come with the same sides (i.e., grilled asparagus and roasted or mashed potatoes), which shows a lack of any imagination. In addition, the asparagus was not even prepped properly—the ends weren’t snapped off. I am all for a small and focused menu, but this smacks of laziness. While I enjoyed the banana pudding dessert (mainly because of the flambéed bananas), it was clearly Jell-O banana pudding. This place is way overpriced for the quality of food it serves.

Made reservations well over a week in advance. We were placed at the table closest to the door where other guests gathered to be seated. Food is extremely pricy for the quality you receive. Potatoes were instant and frozen. Meats/seafood grill marks on one side only, the two prawns atop the salmon had no color, old and tasted foul. We all got different amounts of asparagus spears. Parties of five or more automatic 20% gratuity added to your bill. I’m sure that attributes to the lack of attention from the server. Came from Sacramento for dinner and a show with our kids. We will be back to Stockton but will find a different spot for dinner.

We were a party of three for lunch, the food was absolutely delicious!! The avocado fries, the steak chili, clam chowder and loaded baked potato soup; not to mention the chicken fried chicken, the NY steak sandwich and fish, shrimp & fries! Don’t let me forget Devin the waiter, he was attentive, friendly and respectful. He provided the best customer service, the kind we all should strive to provide. Great ambience, great food and great service, what more can you ask for!

Came here on a Tuesday night to celebrate a family member's birthday. It was not busy at all. In fact, it was eerily quiet. The service was really slow for a table of 3, and the food was awful. I ordered a cheeseburger that took more than 40 minutes until it was served. When it was, it was still frozen, and my sweet potato fries were not cooked all the way through. And the bill was outrageously expensive and overpriced.

I had the pleasure of attending this restaurant with family and let me tell you the food was absolutely amazing. However we did stumble upon a really off waiter. She was very very rude and seemed to be under the influence while taking our orders throughout the night. Plenty of times she forgot our utensils after asking multiple times as well as drinks. By the end of the night she mixed up all outside patio orders and almost charged us for someone else’s table. Very beautiful restaurant she was just terrible.our busser was a very nice young man which made the experience much better. Food was amazing she just made the experience hard to forget in not so positive way. Overall I hope I can come back to a better experience next time!

This is a great place to eat! The wait staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. We made reservations but it was early so we probably would not have had a problem getting seated.

I had a wonderful dining experience with VIP guest on my 50th birthday and Midgleys restaurant went above and beyond to make sure of it. I enjoyed the spectacular and delicious Tomahawk prime rib w grilled asparagus and fries and a tasty sweet heat margarita 🍹, we sat inside by the window with ambient light and candle light, our waiters surprised me with a birthday song as they brought out a cake I brought for the special occasion, they happily brought us Lil plates and forks to accommodate and Ifelt the kindness of excellence in service....we all had a beautiful time here at Midgleys

Walked right in and sitted. Really, there's no need for reservation, but I wanted to make sure. The service was great. the food was great. It was fairly empty so the staff were a bit loud in the bar. That was my only issue.

We’re a couple that has no problem spending money on great food. We’re foodies and money is not an issue. We have eaten here before, the food is great! HOWEVER, last night for new year’s eve we had a horrible experience. We made reservations and planned on having some drinks and appetizers before heading to a NYE party. We were sat, ordered drinks and FOUR appetizers (from a very rude waitress that had no patience while we looked at the menu) she puts our order in and comes back about ten minutes later and asks what we're having. We respond telling her “we only want drinks and appetizers.” She tells us “ohh no thats not allowed tonight since it’s a special night, you have to order from the dinner menu or leave.” What?! Why were we not told this? She took our drink order (cocktails) and appetizer order but couldn’t mention their “rules” for the night? The dinner menu was 95$ a person with great options but who wants to eat an entire three course meal before a party? Not us! She was very rude and told us “I’m gonna walk away, you guys can decide what you’re doing but I wont serve just appetizers.” We absolutely got up and walked out. Rude!!! We walked to La Mesa across the way! They greeted us and sat us right away. They made our night so much better. Very friendly, professional, and welcoming. Nothing like the experience we had at Midgleys!

It was a nice place !! We will be back to try regular menu! Didn’t know we had to only choose new years menu!! And as much as we spent we still had to ask for bread!! We will be back to try bone in rib eye !!

Came here to celebrate a friends birthday/ girls night out. Although we only shared multiple appetizers and side dishes with no entrees, the food was amazing.

This our family’s first time at Midgly’s and have say first experience was so good. Our server was very polite and attentive to our needs even the bus boy was very pleasant and the food…so delicious I had the tomahawk pork chop my sone had the ribeye and my wife had the MPH chicken with a side of Mac and cheese and for starters we had the crack shrimp…everything was so delicious… I highly recommend this restaurant… a hidden gem… we will definitely go back

Service was friendly but extremely slow. Understandable due to Friday, December 23, Christmas eve eve...very crowded. Understandable until we noticed it seemed to be tied to tips. Our party of five required 20% tip added to the bill. Smaller parties around us were receiving better attention and faster service. Our busser and hostess were attentive but we didn't meet our server until about 45 minutes into our visit. After placing orders, we waited a lengthy time to be served. Those around us, seated after us, were served quickly and left while we were receiving our meals. Word to the wise, we usually offer better than 20% on special days ie Christmas but if a server assumes his/her tip is locked in by automatic gratuity, that's all he/she will receive. Tip is "Thank You" for good service. If it was merely a staffing level error, we hope it won't be a problem in the future.

Service was poor. We were one of the first tables seated for lunch. The waiter was there for a moment and then forgot about us. We waited to have drinks, waited to order, waited for food delivery and then almost had to beg for the check. I love eating here and every time we do it’s a treat, seems like the service gets worse the more we go….

Never had any complaints eating here many times before. Food was great as always. Service was horrible. We waited 40-min for our meal then when we were done, waited 45 min for our check. And another 15 for him to bring my credit card back to the table. There was a screaming child the entire time also. When I spend $150 on a nice meal I don’t want to hear screaming children. I can go to McDonalds for that
