Very enjoyable brunch, the Shakshuka Eggs Benedict was very good lots of flavor possibly the poached eggs were slightly under cooked but delicious. The Farmers Market Omelet was perfection, and the crispy shaved brussel sprouts were a real treat and the breakfast potatoe are always so good! The Brioche Scrambled Sammie also perfectly cooked and delicious, it was expensive to add the $8 fries to this sandwich, not sure why that wasn't included with the sandwich. Our waitress was very nice and checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed.

We used to love Merchant. We returned, looking forward to a special evening, and we we so disappointed. Started out fine, but server lost interest (and golden opportunity when she took away our cocktail glasses without asking if we wanted another!). We asked for bread with mussels and it took them 15 minutes to bring it out. Burgers were fine but small. Why pay a lot for a little? Not going back. Sad, but no.

Good whiskey sours and excellent cheese curds. The Bibb lettuce salad left a lot to be desired and the steak frites for 35 dollars is a 6 oz sirloin and a pound of soggy fries. It was a fine night but we won’t return, plenty of other better food and restaurants around the city.

It was lovely The server on the patio seemed to be overwhelmed; we had to repeatedly ask for drinks/refills and she didn't check on us much (but she was nice)

There simply was not enough entree choices to select from. We had to pay $10pp upfront just to make the reservation. This fee was supposed to include bubbly for the graduate and a small taster for everyone else to toast the graduate. Our graduate got a glass of white wine and nothing for the rest.

Food and drink were good. Nothing spectacular and prices high for drinks especially. $14 for a glass of wine. That better be some really fine wine... I think the plating of the food appears to be what you pay for more than the quality or taste which I would say is good but not extraordinary in any way. Recommend but with this cautionary note. Depends on what someone is going for. Also the high ceilings made it quite loud.

this is always my spot for a dinner date! it’s good value for pretty great food, along with an excellent location. service is attentive, without being too rushed. you can stay for an hour or three, whatever is the vibe
