Really great food and service. Rare for the neighborhood in my opinion. Meadowsweet operates like a restaurant should. Great service, impeccable food and a nice environment. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. Looking forward to our next visit.

We went there for Mother’s Day brunch and it was perfect! Food was delicious (how did they get the beans to taste so good in the Huervo Ranchero?) and the service was knowledgeable and friendly. We’d go back again!

Incredible meal we won’t forget and worth the hour drive. Between us, we had six starters and entrees and three cocktails—loved everything. Server was very friendly. Bar was a bit backed up but it was a Saturday night.

The food was amazing, cocktails were delicious and everyone in my group loved Meadowsweet. We had an issue with a gift certificate and they went above and beyond to fix it. Can’t say enough nice things about our experience. We had been meaning to go for a long time but hadn’t made it there, and now that we know how wonderful it is we will be back soon.

Great food great service. The bartender Angel is fantastic, makes you feel right at home the minute you sit down. Food is always on point, a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. I eat here often

Everything we ate was phenomenal. Our group shared a bunch of plates that I wish were just a tad bigger - olive oil rolls, 2 pastas, tuna tartare, burger, sea bass, a salad and the octopus. the wait staff was incredible and we loved spending a few hours there without feeling rushed or pressed for time. I would go back in a heartbeat!

My party had a terrific time in a very lively if somewhat noisy weekend brunch. Certainly to be expected.🙂 I point out a particular event that I was impressed by. I mentioned in passing to my server that my food was slightly salty for my taste but was satisfying. Moments later the manager was by the table inquiring about it and showed real care as to the pleasure of my meal. Despite me letting her know it was ok she insisted on removing it from the bill. Service and consideration like that is almost extinct but living large at this restaurant. Thanks to all.

On my inaugural visit to the establishment, I found the staff to be incredibly hospitable upon our entrance. Our server, Arturo, went above and beyond in providing excellent service throughout the entire experience. The culinary offering was nothing short of exceptional, both in terms of taste and the visually appealing presentation. Without a doubt, I would eagerly return for another enjoyable visit.

i'll start this review positively: the food was very good. the quality of the meal was very good, & it tasted delicious. if this was just about food, i would dine there again. however, i'm writing to discuss the service. i had reserved a table at meadowsweet to celebrate getting engaged. in prep for this, i had included a note about the engagement in my reservation & had sent an email prior to our visit that mentioned our engagement as well. when we arrived, we were shown promptly to our table, which despite the restaurant not being very busy, was a small table directly between the kitchen & another couple: super cramped, loud, impersonal. service quickly became an issue. our server didn't even stay long enough at our table to introduce himself. when plates arrived, they were chipped every time. our server couldn't give any real responses when asked for recommendations, & instead seemed like an uncomfortable deer caught in headlights. the meal felt rushed, as if they were trying to get us out as quickly as possible. for a celebratory dinner, we weren't even given real time to celebrate- we were in & out in 30 minutes. most importantly, there wasn’t one mention of our engagement by any waitstaff. the only acknowledgement tableside was when the kitchen sent us "something special & freshly made" with our check: two macaroons, quarter sized, cold, sticky, & burnt. the final insult was a manager, telling us as we were leaving the restaurant: "thanks for dining! & congrats on your.... engagement, right?" it felt like a slap in the face. clearly SOMEONE had known, but didn't even bother to say anything to us until we were one foot out the door, in a sheepish afterthought. no one took notice of us or cared about us/ our moment, in the way that real customer service professionals should. we felt uncomfortable, rushed, & underserved the entire meal, like an afterthought. this experience has put a cloud over the entire memory of our engagement. so disappointing.

Absolutely amazing. Our new favorite restaurant in NYC. Everything from the gnocchi duck ragu to the scallops, bavette, fried artichokes and chocolate flourless cake were amazing!!! The service was impeccable. The owner and manager care about and take care of their customers.

They were so kind and accommodating! We had allergies, a birthday, and a shifting arrival time. In short, we weren’t the best diners, but they were so friendly and understanding in spite of that, and we really enjoyed ourselves. Wonderful food with a fun and welcoming environment.

We booked a reservation here for a family birthday, based on a recommendation from a friend. Not knowing what to expect, we were very impressed. The service team was incredible at taking care of all our requests, the food was exceptional, and the team surprised us with a birthday celebration at the end. Highly recommend Meadowsweet!!

The whole thing was a little chaotic. We were sat directly in front of the server station with an overhead lamp that felt like an interrogation. The food was well intended + beautiful but my salmon really fell short. It felt very…Nordic and out of place.

Amazing experience at Meadowsweet. Went to celebrate my mom’s birthday and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The entire staff was super welcoming and attentive. They even gave us a few Prosecco glasses at the end to enjoy with the delicious desserts. Will be coming back to one of my new favorite spots!! Cocktails and food were super on point

I had been dying to return to Meadowsweet since a friend had ordered from there in the early days of the pandemic. I finally had the chance and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious, flavorful, well-prepared, all the things. The staff were friendly, helpful, and kind. Our table ordered several starters, and the artichokes were the crowd favorite. Definitely get those!
