Took a while to get seated but once we were the food (buffet) was amazing, my only disappointment was that the items being "re-stocked" were not being stocked at all or often enough to keep us going back to the buffet. My group was very disappointed with not getting more of certain food items or any items that they just completely ran out of. They wanted more sushi and I never ever got bacon?, they never had any when I was there once it was served the first round. Also we were the one of the first large groups seated when it opened, so this all seemed very odd, obviously re-stocking food was an issue. They did seem busy but the restaurant wasn't super packed with the amount of staff they had on hand. They were nice enough to give us an hour of mimosas on the house for making us wait to be seated almost a half hour later than our reservation time. But, the mimosas are NOT included in the buffet brunch price fyi.

Made a reservation for 10:30 but no menu options available till 11. The Buffett was only option & was cold, they confirmed eggs were boxed eggs. Certainly NOT worth $30 person. Service was accommodating but food was terrible & cold.

My husband and I were very disappointed with our experience at McKinkey’s Grille. We waited forever for water, utensils, and to place our order. We let our server know that we had only one hour for lunch before our conference, at the hotel where it is located, resumed. Fifteen minutes passed, then 30. I let them know we needed our food quickly. They assured us that it would be out soon. Finally, with only 15 minutes left, I had to let them know that we were going to need it to go if it was not done still. They were able to get it packed up and ready for us to take back with us to the ballroom. Thankfully, the manager was kind enough to take care of the bill. The food was okay but quite pricey.

The food was nice and service was good. I have faced couple of problems 1. When I reserved the table through open table, they didn’t have a fixed valentine’s menu and I booked outdoor. When we reached for the reservation they gave us a fixed menu, most of the items on that menu we couldn’t have due to health issues. If they could have their fixed menu in here I probably wouldn’t have opt to reserve the table with them. 2. When we asked for à la carte menu they took us to some bar area seriously!! We went there to celebrate Valentine’s day not to the bar. Then one very well behaved lady came and helped us to get a chair inside the restaurant, we didn’t reserve for that table but couldn’t complain. Food was nice though, drinks are not that good. Service was good from some folks but We didn’t like the management. Just a suggestion, IF You have a fixed menu for some occasion, please just post the menu on open table if you are taking reservations through that app.

Got valentine set is good and great presentation. However service is a little slow. I check in 10 minutes before my reservation time 8pm and ask me to wait outside then time past 8:10pm and no one call me in so I have to go check again. When I got seated I waited another 20 minutes before someone come take my order. satisfied but not satisfied.

I will not come here again. They had the wrong order, drinks tasted odd, pasta was over cooked and the bread was not fresh. It was something you can buy at Ralph’s.

Our first time at McKinley's grill, it was near to where we attended a function. Service was great, Eric was informative and did a great job overall. Food was excellent and we are looking forward to returning and trying some other items on the menu. The fried chicken sandwich was amazing.

This was the best restaurant Thanksgiving I've ever had. The food was incredible, the ambience charming and the service was impeccable. I've already asked when they're next holiday buffet is.

Our visit was much more than expected. Service was excellent, food was excellent and we ate outside on the patio on a lovely evening. Tamee was an amazing waitress and tended to all of our needs perfectly, thank you for the wonderful experience . We. Will definitely be back!

We ate at the Grille once for dinner and once for breakfast. Dinner was on a slow evening, so service was attentive. It is very casual, sort of a coffee shop vibe, but there is a really nice outdoor patio with trees and lights, wonderful for warm evenings. The food was fresh and well made (cobb salad and vegan (I think it was vegan) burger, the tastiest non-meat burger I have ever eaten). Really crisp lettuce, juicy tomato on the burger. Breakfast was chaotic with a crush of guests ordering coffee to go that was prepared (espresso drinks) at the same register by the same people who were also supposed to seat and ring up breakfast guests. Not a good scene. But the food, once we got seated, was tasty, better than average coffee shop type fare. We had a breakfast burrito w black beans and chorizo, served w pickled onions, green sauce, and sour cream on the side. Substantial enough to get you through the day, or share. The restaurant is rightfully proud of its fresh ingredients; they make a difference. Fresh grilled chile for garnish - yum!

The restaurant has very slow service which is a result of the kitchen. Dinner service was slightly faster but the breakfast is incredibly slow. Do not dine here if you are in a hurry. The actual food itself is good and the staff is nice. I just wish they would hire either more kitchen staff or better trained.

We highly recommend this place for the food alone. The service was slow at first and picked up as we progressed. Beer selection is very, very poor. Ambiance was perfect except setup took place after we arrived.

Food was great, service was mediocre, especially for the 20% automatic tip for a party of 6. Outdoor patio seating was really nice until another customer decided to turn on music on his phone while seated by himself. Wait staff made no attempt to ask him to turn it off.

We came in on a Friday morning for breakfast, only a limited menu and breakfast (half empty) buffet with omelet station was available. It gave a very early post COVID opening vibe. Our waitress Patricia was very kind and as attentive as she could be being the only waitress on the floor. There were two managers lingering around watching everyone with very bad attitudes, the male manager stepped in to help at a table a couple of times and he was very rude and made it clear he didn’t want to be there. The omelet from the station wasn’t cooked all the way and just looked like a blob, the breakfast buffet was just like a continental breakfast; toast, cereal, packaged yogurt, old sausage, hard potatoes bacon, burnt oatmeal, cheese and meat board and French toast. This restaurant has so much potential I hope there are some changes coming soon.

We never got greeted by a server. Finally when I stopped a server (Ryan) he asked if we wanted a check, I told him we never even got our drinks. Later he walked up and I asked, “Are you our server?” he said, “Yes.” However, he never introduced himself and we had to flag him down for drinks. Shortly after we got drinks he handed us our check. We said “We actually wanted mimosas.” He never explained or offered them to us. Even though we heard him telling the table behind us all about them as soon as they sat down. For the price we paid, we had absolutely horrible service. Would not go back or recommend it to anyone.

Was not told we’d have to be seated in a conference room because they were setting up a separate event in the actual restaurant. We were only given drinks when we were first seated but told us to hold off on ordering even though we were ready. Then after an hour no one had come to our table and the staff only became more attentive once we complained. Another table even got up to leave because they were not served at all. They were so short staffed that I’m assuming the hotel staff started bringing our food in an attempt to help but they were struggling with holding the plates of food. I understand the issues that came about, however I was disappointed there was no warning about switching venues and the poor service.

Arrived at 5 o’clock for 5:00 PM reservation. Requested outdoor seating and was told that that was not available due to Mother’s Day being the next day! I explained that I had specifically requested an outdoor table, but everyone just shrugged. Food was completely unremarkable. Service was mediocre. Wish I would have found some place else to dine. Will never go back.

Reservation for 10:15am outside. Arrived at 10:20am due to having to pay $20 deposit for parking and waiting on security. Arrived and was told I have 10 minutes to order food because the kitchen closes at 10:30am. Told no seating outside because they already assigned the table to other parties. Food was small portions, and did not get drinks because the waiter forgot. They also ran out of potatoes and said all sides are a bowl of fruit which they also forgot to bring. Would not recommend.

First off the link to the menu on Open Table is very outdated. The prices have increased substantially as we found out when we sat down. The menu is very limited and the prices are way out of line compared to the amount and quality of food given. $60 for a small thinly cut steak? $22 for a very small bowl of fried calamari? You get a bit of mashed potatoes and a vegetable with it but nothing else not even bread or soup/salad unless you pay extra. Maybe this is how restaurants tied in with hotels are since out of town quests may just eat there for convenience but definitely not worth the money.

Not fabulous. Pretty underwhelmed by it all. Cocktail was missing lots of ingredients mentioned on the menu. Potatoes undercooked. Overhead lights flickering.

I would avoid eating this place, it’s definitely not worth the time, and most definitely not worth paying $30 to reserve. I’m not saying this because I had a bad experience, I’m saying that because this restaurant is extremely poor venue including the food. Don’t waste your time.

It was amazing!! We had gone to the drill a few times for other brunches but this was by far the Best!!!

McKinley's grill is outstanding! We love the service! The food is outstanding! The people who work there make us happy! We cannot wait to go back to Pomona just for this fabulous restaurant!

I had a great time with my girlfriend. The food was good and the ambience was great. Loved the music and the service rendered.

Two things, the smell they pump Into the hot overflowed in the restaurant, and the smell was so strong and then we had to sit on a small to top, which was literally connected to a party for not exactly what we wanted. We like the atmosphere. We like the restaurant, but sitting literally almost at the same table with another party was not cool they should put a larger partition and then they should give a couple more options on their menu.

Advertised as farm to table: however very few fresh items. Even specialty farm cocktail was not available. Server not familiar with menu

The food and service are exelent. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. We were dining in a party of four and all ordered different dishes and all were vey satisfied. One small thing was unfortunate. We are all average build heights 5.7 to 5.9. Three people out of four found the dining chairs uncomfortable and it was really hard to eat while sitting in them. Either had to slide all the way back in these extremely deep and quite high chairs and the feet were dangling in the air. If moved forward to touch the ground and slip furter out of the chair, it felt like the cair will run away from you and you had to use the table to hold on to. It was quite uncomfortable and hard to enjoy the excellent food and service.
