Location is beautiful, food was tasty…have the ribeye, mash potatoes (without wasabi) and broccolini. Was delicious and so good. The staff were friendly, professional and kind. Had a wonderful night.

View is wonderful of the lake, great service and my sushi and friend’s fried rice with chicken were all excellent.

We were very pleased with our dining experience….Food was excellent, service was good, beautiful setting all for reasonable value… garlic edamame was best we have ever had! Sushi was outstanding!!!was concerned due to reading a few reviews that were not so good … would definitely go back and highly recommend it…

Nice view from the restaurant but service was slow and our steaks had to be remade. Fairly limited menu for entrees other than sushi. Has potential but needs some work.

Beautiful restaurant. Limited menu but food was delicious. Service was awkward to say the least. Kinda threw down out appetizers plates in a rush without removing the plates that were on the table when we arrived so we cleared the table setting plates to the side. The poke was delicious as was the walnut shrimp! Then the main meal arrived - I ordered chicken and pineapple yellow curry. The server delivered two bowls - one with rice and the other with the curry. The curry bowl was too full for any rice. I grabbed another server and requested a plate - he was kind enough to bring me a plate and a spoon. The yellow curry was green and it was still delicious! My husband had the waygu steak and thought it was good but not necessarily amazing as you would expect. The truffle mashed potatoes were delicious. The server brought our check without asking if we wanted dessert so either they don't have any options or he didn't think to ask. Overall the ambiance is wonderful - most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in at a restaurant - I could have stayed for hours. The food was very good. The server seemed new at what you would want at this level of dining I think. But, we will return again as the black cod was my second choice!

Located in the Westin with gorgeous views of the golf course and Lake Las Vegas. As a newly relocated resident, we were excited to try a local Sushi Restaurant. While there mid-week, there was a convention and they had their own thing going on. We were the only ones in the restaurant until about 6:30 when another couple came in. Brendon was our server and he was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and area. The spicy Edamame was very good and enjoyed the Wok Filet. Hubby had the sushi combo and was good, but not exceptional. Hot sake was spot on. Overall we will be back and hope other residents patronize this place too.

Marssa restaurant should update the online menu. The menu offers less than half the choices listed on the website and it was a huge disappointment. I would not had stayed at this property being that the date night planned was kind of ruined since the menu had no crab stuffed salmon or the lamb chops my husband and I had our stomachs set for. We settled and spent our money since everything is so far and it was 8pm so we were hungry but this was a huge let down that could’ve easily been avoided.

The menu online is pre-Covid and they do not have many of the dishes now. I was disappointed by that. However, the food was still very delicious.

The food was timely, well prepared, tasty and the portions were generous. The service was great. The beverage selection was vast too. I highly recommend as one of the best spots in the Vegas area.

Marssa sent us a text 1 hour before our reservation time of 6pm on a Saturday night stating that they would not be open that night! They apparently had staffing issues and I find it incredible for a restaurant of this caliber to not have adequate staff to fill in when needed.

Best service ever as Brendan was excellent waiter and Stephanie was outstanding host. Yellowtail was freshest and most delicious ever!

It had been some time since our guests and my wife and I dined at Marssa. Prior to going I checked the menu that the restaurant had posted online. It menu items looked attractive: Lamb Chops, Duck, Salmon, Stuffed Salmon etc etc. However when we arrived and checked out the "real" menu, most of the items that sounded appetizing to us were no longer offered. The menu has been narrowed down to be regular hotel restaurant food and a lot of sushi items (great if that is what you came for). The prices were $$$$ and all al a carte. Our server was good and attentive.

The service was excellent! I saw on the menu they had a sushi roll with a chimichurri sauce. The server gave me a sample and I put it on the cucumbers that came with the sashimi. It was delicious!

It was just kind of there there wasn't much exciting about the meal. The ribeye was kind of surprising that it was just a really thin flat steak and the truffle mashed potatoes came out ice cold. Was expecting more for charging on strip prices and for what you actually got. I guess I went in with low expectations with a three and a half star rating already. But it just wasn't any kind of a wow memorable experience.

They are understaffed in dining room and kitchen, plan an hour from the time your seated until you will eat and that is in a half empty restaurant. Views are pretty and food is good, but not worth the wait.

Restaurant was empty and hostess said we couldn’t get a table until 8, checked open table and get a reservation in 10 minutes. Didn’t expect to need a reservation but we’re happy we were able to get one. Food was good but not quite worth it for the Price. Server was very kind and quick. Fresh seaweed in tuna poke ruined the dish for me but my husband didn’t mind it, I don’t mind dried but the fresh was very chewy. Was quiet so we could have conversation and had a pretty view of the lake. Would probably choose a different steakhouse or sushi spot for next time.

This was our first visit although we moved to Lake Las Vegas in May. It was fantastic! Bryan was our server and not only was he very attentive but he gave us excellent suggestions! We had the Honey Walnut Shrimp to start which was delicious. The shrimp were quite large and cooked to perfection. The walnuts are candied and absolutely delicious. They are a great combination! For dinner, we had filet mignon, spider roll with softshell crab, tuna poke roll, and wasabi mashed potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked and served with three sauces. The sushi was super fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully. The wasabi mashed potatoes were very creamy and not too spicy. To top it off, they serve Rombauer Chardonnay by the glass for $13.00! It is one of our favorite chardonnays and at an exceptional price. We will definitely be back!

We chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner, enticed by its beautiful views of Lake Las Vegas and the promise of a family-friendly atmosphere away from the bustling casino scene. Making the reservation through Open Table, we indicated our special occasion and requested a high chair, expecting a personalized touch. Unfortunately, our experience was underwhelming. Although a high chair was offered, it wasn't ready at our table, and no acknowledgment was made of our anniversary—a simple greeting would have been appreciated. The decor, while appealing, showed signs of wear with stained table cloths and benches. While the steak and sushi restaurant provides a quieter ambiance, suitable for intimate conversations, the open kitchen proved to be a distraction. Hearing every conversation from the kitchen staff, including comments about our toddler, was off-putting. The food was satisfactory, but nothing stood out. Even our server's lack of recommendations mirrored our overall experience—nothing special. It wasn't a bad experience, but the lack of attention to detail and the ordinary dining experience wouldn't prompt us to return or recommend it to others. Though set in a beautiful location and promising tranquility, this restaurant missed the opportunity to provide an exceptional dining experience. For those seeking something memorable for a special occasion, it may be worth exploring other options in the Las Vegas Valley.

Had a wonderful date night dinner. Realyn, our server was wonderful and very effective. Made our evening. Brian, the manager has a customer service attitude and supports his staff to exhibit that same attitude. Food was delicious.

Went to Marssa for the first time. Excellent. Service was attentive yet not pushy. Ambience is excellent with spectacular views of the lake. The food quality was excellent. Sushi and Rolls are “typical” and while tasty, not very original. Resort prices made it pricey but a great restaurant nonetheless.

Chef Alfredo is magical. Our sushi starter was bar none the best I've ever had. The filet was done to perfection and cannot say enough about the garlic truffle mashed potatoes. Brendan our server was exceptional.

The food was excellent, we had the black cod, which was sweet, but perfectly marinated, the wayagu fillet, which was perfectly cooked and didn’t even need any sauce, the truffle mashed potatoes were exceptional. The broccolini was perfectly al dente, and the sushi was very fresh. Highly recommend the edamame as well. To match the food was the service and the atmosphere. Between our server and the chef, (who came out and talked to us personally) made our experience quite different from the horrible hotel experience. We will definitely be back again and I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting lake Las Vegas. oh, and not to mention, the bartender didn’t put soda in the old fashioned like the bartender in the hotel did, who had proceeded to argue what a true old fashioned was. Perhaps the restaurant bar should train the hotel bar!

It took us until the end of our meal to get some rice , couldn’t be steamed for some strange reason so we got it fried, the experience was over average, but they might be the only decent restaurant left open at 9 pm in lake Las Vegas. Too bad!

Mia was our server. She made our dining experience wonderful. She was very friendly and helpful. Her suggestions for dinner were perfect. The Tiger roll was great as well as the shrimp duo. We will definitely be back!

We are WAY past a restaurant this “nice” not being able to accommodate food, allergies, or even know how to accommodate them. What happened to nice restaurants that would say, “We are happy to make something for you. What would you like?”. At MARSSA, we got, “Sorry, we can’t make adjustments, but we’re happy to take items off of what we make, and charge you the same amount with no suggestion for alternatives.” I don’t usually get on here and write negative reviews, but this was a little tough to swallow at these prices, especially.
