Le chef Mike Price et son collaborateur, Joey Campanaro, ont ouvert le Market Table durant l'automne 2007. Situé à l'angle des rues Carmine et Bedford, dans le West Village, ce restaurant dispose d'une salle à manger spacieuse avec des murs en briques apparentes et de grandes fenêtres offrant une vue sur la vie du village. Le Market Table propose un menu américain de saison, influencé par l'enfance de Mike passée dans une ferme familiale du Maryland et par des années de travail aux côtés de grands chefs. Market Table is my “go to” restaurant- whether dining with family, taking a friend, or going solo. Why? Because the entire experience is consistently fabulous. Fresh ingredients, novel combinations and enticing presentation. It’s in my top 5 favorite restaurants in the city! Just love it (can you tell?!?!).

Food was excellent. Flat whites were disappointing. Very milky, not strong. Added an extra shot but it’s not great coffee

My friend and I had an early brunch. We chose the restaurant based on the menu options, and what we ordered was excellent. I really enjoyed their version of eggs benedict - the hollandaise was excellent as was the biscuit. Wait staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. As other reviews have noted, portions are modest. Though we weren't rushed, the time-limit (which allows multiple seatings) made us feel like we couldn't linger. Also, I'd appreciate more options for dessert. I'll be back to try the waffles.
