I always want to love this place. The food is always great and the menu changes. The ambiance is great and they even had the outside doors open with a cool breeze in the patio. However, the service here is always lacking. I’m Not sure if they are understaffed. This visit, my husband and I waited 20 min for a glass of wine. I did not particularly like the choice I made so I asked the waitress to order a different wine. When this glass of wine didn’t arrive after an additional 15 minutes, my husband went up to the bar to question it (could not find our waitress). The bartender stated that it had been delivered to the wrong table. I finally received my wine when I had finished my lunch. Overall the ambiance and food here is great, however the service is always lacking. There are other options with similar food and better service close by.

When the reservation was made over the phone about two weeks prior, a table by lakeside was specifically requested. I was told that should be no problem, as the tables were outside by the lake. When we arrived for our reservation time, we were told there were no outside tables available. However, we could wait for about 30 minutes for an outside table. Or take a table in the corner inside. There was no line and nobody waiting. So this was a disappointing experience, and for the money that was spent, we probably won’t be back.

Mother’s Day menu. The atmosphere is always great. The food was delicious, but the portions were small, especially the beef cheeks and soup. We enjoy the restaurant, but like most restaurants on special occasions, it is overpriced.

My wife loved the ambience and we both love the lakeside experience, it was a beautiful experience. But the dinner menu was somewhat limited in choices though what we ordered tasted fresh with good flavor. We would visit again 😋

Have been to this restaurant many times, and something has changed for the worse. They must’ve been shortstaffed, because Service was far from up to par. Drinks ordered took quite a bit of time to be received and wine with dinner came when we were halfway through the entrées. Our entrées came out cold and had to be sent back. Our server disappeared and finally flagged him down for the check. No offer was made for Desert or Coffee, and at that point we had determined after frequenting this restaurant for quite some time that it no longer is an option for us , Lastly, while I understand the location of the restaurant in Desert Shores on the lake, exposes us to bugs. There were so many they ended up in our clothes in our hair in our food in our drinks and maybe they have just stopped spraying to deter this unacceptable condition. Buyer beware.

Went for Sunday brunch took way too long for food and drinks. Food was just ok. Menu and restaurant is very outdated and needs to updated and cleaned. A few kitchen employee’s smoking near the front entrance. Bug turn off. Hostess could be a bit more welcoming. You’re really paying for just the views. Not sure if we will be back again.

Brought my mother in law for a nice weekend brunch. Beautiful views and sweet staff contributed to a lovely day. Would definitely come back here.

Sunday brunch was terrible. Service took too long and our waiter was clearly missing in action or short staffed. It took about 45 mins to receive one drink from the moment we were sat down. Food wasn’t any better. The cinnamon roll was overcooked, the pot pie was not a pot pie, but a tart shell filled with cold filling and vegetables as long as my utensil. I would not recommend this restaurant for brunch.

It was my first time at this restaurant since moving out of Las Vegas and it has certainly gone down hill. First off, the hostess is not always at the front entrance to greet you and when you ask where to check in you are met with a lot of attitude. She sat people that came in after us too just to be a little spiteful I guess. Once seated on the gorgeous patio the drinks came out fast, however waiting more than an hour and a half for very simple food was not ideal. The brioche French toast was not cooked all the way, shrimp and grits were a ton of grits and a few shrimp and the steak and eggs came out with the steak completely purple/still cold, not medium-well at all. This place used to be a lively brunch spot but they lack the staffing resources to maintain quality service.

My wife and I were very disappointed. Food and service are usually good and they have great wines. But yesterday night everything went wrong. Despite our reservation, we waited 40 minutes to be seated in a little added room with no atmosphere at all, and once seated, we had to wait so long to be served, our food (seared foie gras, crispy duck breast) arrived cold..... Meanwhile we were waiting for a table, my wife stood forever at the bar to get a glass of champagne. The bartender was doing his own business, totally ignoring her..... We need 45 minutes to drive there.... definitely not worth it!!!

A restaurant like Marche Baccus encourages customers to expect a superior experience. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The ambience is still beautiful. The escargot was good. The 10 oz ground chuck was the best item. BUT! The short rib and pasta was awful. None of the main components had any flavor. The pasta was overcooked and mushy. And no restaurant should have one waiter serving 8 tables. While the waiter occasionally had someone helping. The service was decidedly lacking. When you go to a restaurant for a special evening this was an unfortunate disappointment.

Our server Holly is doing a great job above and beyond. I’m sorry there’s a problem of one of our guests but Holly handled it well. I like to comment about our drinks. We ordered three glasses and they came in different levels which I was told it’s all measured at 5 ozs. I would think that can be improved.

One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. Food, drinks, service and ambiance are great. The staff is friendly and courteous. I love to bring guests from out of town here; no one expects a nice restaurant on a lake in Las Vegas!

Our server Christian was wonderful. The escargot was divine! The menu has changed, all for the Good!! Our entrees were delicious. My dessert Perfection! The setting on the lake is so relaxing. We will be back soon to enjoy it all!!

Food was not what I remember. Sent back the Caesar Salad that was drowning in dressing and the waiter didn’t remove it from the bill after saying that he would. Short ribs were split between me and my guest as requested. He got all fat covered in sauce… sent his portion back and requested another. Ambience was perfect on the lake… drove 50 minutes one way…excited to show my guest a terrific place… disappointed ☹️.

Unfortunately, the burger came out rare and cold even though we ordered it medium. The fish was cooked on one side but not the other making the fish halfway done. Disappointing.

Marche used to be a top restaurant but not anymore. Soup was tepid, shrimp and grits was a poor example of this dish. 3 small shrimp and it wasn't hot. Steak frites was okay but the fries were the best part of this dish. We used to eat here 4 or 5 times a year but it has really gone down in food quality. Rhonda and Jeff need to find a new chef or something because it just isn't what it used to be. Sad to see this.

Non existent service. Nobody seems to care. Escargot covered in thick green layer looked scary so we got out quickly and went to nearby OhLaLa where the meal was excellent. One one added to out Never again list.

It's been a couple years since I've been here. We came for lunch around 1pm. There weren't very busy. They may have been understaffed. It did take 2 hours for lunch. We only ordered one drink because it took 30 min to get them. Overall food was decent, but nothing extraordinary about this. If you have time to have an extended lunch with great views go for it.

We went for Sunday brunch to celebrate 3 birthdays and had a party of 7. Service was really poor. Our waitress pretty much ignored us. 3 of us ordered bottomless mimosas and we had to practically beg to get refills. 2 people in our party had to wait much longer for their food than the other 5 of us, so we had to start without them so our food wouldn't get cold. Eggs benedict was adequate at best. I don't even think they toasted the english muffin. The French toast, banana pancakes, hamburger and cobb salad were good, however. They do NOTHING for birthdays. She offered to let us order off the desert menu, which of course we would have to purchase. She said she would give us ice cream, but the vanilla had a hair in it, which appeared to be an eye lash, so not edible. Then we waited forever for the check. I finally had to call out to her to get her attention because she wouldn't make eye contact with any of us. I asked her for the check and she said, Oh I thought I had already delivered that. If that were the guess I would think she would have been by to pick it up, right? Anyway, I have been to this restaurant many times over the years and have always loved the food and had great service. We got there at 11:15 and there was hardly anyone there. No excuse for the poor service. I won't be going back any time soon. Very disappointing.

We always enjoy our dinner at Marche’s. Great food, service & romantic dining. Entertainment was awesome too!
