The food is average compared to other steakhouses/higher-end restaurants in the city. The standout dishes were the potato chip and onion dip amuse bouche, the steak tartare, and the potato gratin. Both our steaks were over cooked (we did inform our server, but we opted to keep them instead of wait for another; the flavor was still decent). The cocktails are phenomenal and the vibe and decor is gorgeous. This is my 2nd visit (first time was 6 years ago); had almost the same review last time.

We were very impressed with the menu at maple and ash. We enjoyed the seafood tower which was very well prepared. We ordered and split an 18oz dry aged ribeye. We requested medium rare and received medium well. Unfortunately, this made our experience less than exceptional. Would return and would highly recommend for others to dine!

Our skilled chefs are normally very good at getting the cooking exactly as the guests request, but we apologize that was not the case for you. A beautiful restaurant… A must when visiting Chicago . Excited you will be Miami opening in Miami (where I live) Food exceptional, ambience and decor gorgeous, service impeccable… thanks to the fact that we had the pleasure of having Sandra serve us. She made our dining experience absolutely perfect! The entire team is extremely professional and polite as well . Ten stars ! Thank you !

From having to wait almost 40 minutes, even with the reservation was absurd. The food was a zero out of 10 did not like the cut of meat and the food was. Our server Alex, she made the experience nice but I will not return back because the food wasn’t good and the long wait time.

Great dinner. Excellent professional service. Servers like this are rare and greatly appreciated. We did four courses with apps, salad, entree and dessert. Dry aged tomahawk was perfection and plentiful for three of us. Sundae dessert topped off a really excellent meal. Looking forward to the Miami location opening.

Maple & Ash is an impeccable dining experience, from the caviar topped onion dip, to welcome cocktails. It’s a true culinary experience for any budget. The seafood towers are to die for and meatballs satisfy the most discriminatory palate. I highly recommend this place.
