Our party of six ordered 12 items. We liked every one of them, a testament to a well run kitchen. The service was excellent, dishes arriving quickly in a thoughtful sequence. We sat inside, but the outside seating looked very appealing. The high Open Table rating is well deserved. We will be back soon.

We love Manchego. We’ve been going for 15 years and I am so sad that the value is just not there anymore. The food was fine but it was $170 for two people and this was with happy hour pricing. 6 tapas and 2 glasses of wine and 3 glasses of sangria. The pricing is exorbitant, I am so sad to say. This was once a sweet date night spot and now it is special occasion pricing. I don’t think we will be back. Thanks for the memories!

One of the best meals I’ve had in awhile. Each dish was flavorful and unique, the wine was great value, and the service was excellent. Will come back.

From start to finish this was a five star experience! The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The menu is extensive and it was difficult to choose what we wanted to try because it all looked delicious! The server gave amazing recommendations and was friendly and personable. Every dish was delicious and I would definitely recommend dining here! Beautiful!

Cute spot to have some very good food served by pleasant but not overbearing waitstaff. Ambience is nice with music to cover the din but not so loud you can't have a conversation. Would definitely return .

We were delighted with our meal at Manchego. The front room was quite noisy but the back room was less so and had a lovely ambiance, with lots of greenery, soft white lights illuminate the space gently and we had a wonderful meal. The choice of tapas was extensive and everything we had was terrific! We would go back again without hesitation and we would recommend it to friends with no reservations. They also had nice outdoor seating which we would have tried if it had been a bit warmer the night we were there.

We love this restaurant!! We begin our vacation and end our vacation by eating here. The happy hour is wonderful. We also tried the branzino and it was great as well. We always come here when in Santa Monica and will be back next year.

The Tapas were as close to the real Spanish cuisine as you can get . We had , the mushroom croquettes, Spanish omelette, shrimp and garlic sauce, figs and goat cheese on bread, Manchego cheese board , patasa bravas. Excellent food and service . Cozy quaint place .

A wide variety of tapas, all very good to excellent. Their roasted potatoes are particularly delicious, which is saying a lot since roasted potatoes are rarely special.

Have been here twice now. First time was as a romantic dinner for two and was recently as a large party of eight. Both times were equally delicious. And the space gives you the sense of a small restaurant in Spain. It’s hard to comment on specific dishes because it depends on your taste. But everything we ordered we enjoyed and we ordered quite a variety of meats, cheese and vegetable based plates. The house red wine is extra tasty. This is a restaurant you make a point to go back to.

It's hard to find legit tapas outside of Spain but it's here at Manchego. Great atmosphere and service as well. Reasonable pricing (especially for CA) and a nice variety. The bacon wrapped dates, short-ribs and crispy polenta, braised beef empanadas and beet salad were noteworthy. But really, not a thing we had was anything we wouldn't get again. Love this place.

Excellent meal, wine, and service. But the table for two was a little too small to accommodate us, our beverages, and the five plates of tapas we ordered. We sat in the front outdoor section between the street and sidewalk. I’ve sat there before for lunch and enjoyed it, but for dinner I prefer the back patio since it’s isolated from the street and a little more intimate.

I've eaten here quite a few times and it's a great place. The food is outstanding and authentic. We have just a handful of great Spanish restaurants here in LA and this is one of the best if not THE best. I will continue to come back to this quaint little place! Highly recommend!

Disappointed. Poor food quality. Overpriced. Server told us that the tortilla de patatas was pre cooked, when got it tasted like the precooked tortilla de patatas from the grocery store. They also have these awful croquetas, and empanadillas.

Friendly, accommodating service. I appreciate the extra time the hostess took to make sure we had outdoor seating, and the waitstaff was Knowledgeable and kind. We’ll definitely be returning!
