Manalu est un nouveau restaurant italien authentique dirigé par le chef et propriétaire Marco Pontecorvo Le nom vient de la combinaison des noms des trois membres de sa famille. MA pour Marco, NA pour Naomi, sa fille, et LU pour Lucia, son épouse. L'objectif de Manalu est d'apporter le goût de l'Italie avec une touche napolitaine dans la ville, en servant une cuisine italienne authentique et l'originale pizza « Napoletana » cuite dans un four en briques. L'ambiance est très confortable et chaleureuse, idéale pour la famille et les amis. Manalu dispose également d'un bar complet et propose des Happy Hours du lundi au vendredi de 16 heures à 19 heures. Les Happy Hours comprennent également un menu accompagné de délicieux amuse-bouches.

Manalu is a fantastic Italian restaurant. It is very popular and has a large following. I suggest always making a reservation. Great neighborhood gathering at the bar, great Happy Hour and very popular for lunch and dinner. Every dish is delicious! Perfect for large gatherings and celebrations. It’s our favorite Italian restaurant in this area. The owners are extremely friendly, the staff is very attentive and good at what they do! You will not be disappointed! Make sure to try Marco’s limoncello!

Second visit. Wonderful Italian food. Had brushetta, lobster ravioli and chicken picatta. All were excellent and not overly garlicky which turns us off at most Italian restaurants. Matt, our server was also very good and friendly.

We are frequent visitors to Manalú. We took another couple who had not been there before. They agreed Manalú is the best Italian restaurant around. Frankly, tonight’s meals were absolutely spectacular.

Marco had created a fantastic restaurant. I had black ravioli with seafood, and my wife had veal abruzzo. Both dishes had luscious sauces. Had some creamy limoncello ("marcocello") as dessert. There's a good reason it's been ranked the best Italian restaurant in Maryland. For special events they bring a decorated platter of fried dessert treats.

Food was excellent as always and the service by Mauricio was outstanding. We can always count on having an excellent meal at Manalu, never disappoints. I highly recommend this fabulous Italian restaurant.

Exceptional service, beautiful outdoor ambiance and incredible food. We all had different variations of the great pastas available. Clean white table cloth adds such class but always wowed by the service. Reservations always recommended for this Italian cuisine treasure!

Manalu is a gem! My girls love this restaurant. It is their new favorite. This is an excellent restaurant for families. They have a delicious menu and the service is top notch! The hostess and greeting staff are friendly. Even on a very busy Sunday afternoon the chef came around to the tables to say hello and ask how the meal was. We will definitely be back!
