Le Malio's Prime Steak House a été ouvert en 1969 par nul autre que Malio lui-même afin de fournir uniquement les meilleurs steaks coupés à la main, les fruits de mer les plus frais, des vin et des spiritueux de première qualité et un excellent service. Everything was really good. The food tested great, service was impeccable, but there were several flies in our area and it was embarrassing to endure on a first date having never been there before. Will most likely not dine again.

Always delicious with a great moody atmosphere in the bar area. Noise level is typically high but we signed up for that.

A birthday dinner. Outstanding carpaccio. Steak and lobster. Excellent. Pasta de Mare for wife equally good. Service by Daniel prompt, attentive and helpful. We were at a two table at window above bar. A bit loud from bar patrons. Quieter tables likely on other end of restaurant. Cocktails very good. Wine reasonably priced. At Bern’s 2 weeks before. Malio’s equally good. More expensive but, better dining ambiance than Bern’s. Felt better served also. Can’t lose either place but for different reasons. .

The food is average but still nice. Nothing overly special. The scallops were under cooked, which is easy to do. The seafood stew soup was not that good, but I did want to try it. French onion was excellent. The fillets were nice but too expensive for the size. Grilled asparagus wasn’t grilled at all. Lobster was cold. Our table was located by the server station which was odd sitting when many other tables were open. We thought the tables would fill up quickly, but they didn’t. Dining room is nice however. Server was good and well spoken. Finding the entrance and panhandlers outside needs attention. A $410 dinner with tip should leave you full, highly satisfied and ready to recommend Malio’s to other Bay Area friends. We do a monthly staycation with friends. We stayed at the Hilton, ate at 211, saw Kevin hart and ate at Malio’s. We all agreed this will not make our do again list.

Thanks Christine for switching the table from outside and the lovely booth table! Courtney was a very professional and efficient server. She made our dinner so wonderful. We'll be back!!

I had steak and lobster. Both were soo good. The sides and bread were also good. Really enjoyed the No Name drink for dessert, an adult milkshake. The waiter and waitress were very accommodating and friendly.
