Chef/Owner Rena Frost’s food ranges from the familiar to the unexpected with fresh seafood, steaks, prime rib and seasonally created specials. We proudly offer Chairman Reserve and Strauss Grass Fed steaks, slow-roasted prime rib, fresh fish selections, and our Signature Mac’s Salad. We partner with local purveyors and individuals enabling us to feature specials that are seasonal and most often locally sourced from our surrounding area.
Our bar features classic cocktails, hand-crafted specialty cocktails, and wines from primarily North & South America.

Our reservations were through the Open Table app. They had excellent steak and eggs using filet mignon, which was tender, juicy and flavorful. The breakfast potatoes were very delicious too but more traditional rather than top-tier, seasoned crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside skillet preparation. They have reasonably priced mimosas for Sunday brunch. We sat in a half-booth near the entrance because there was a large party in the main dining area. They have beautiful vertical crushed glass from table level to ceiling, subdued lighting and dark wood trim and beams that gives the place and upscale feel, along with smooth jazz-rock music. I was expecting a bigger place with tables that go back ways, but was happy with the cozy feel of a smaller place. They have limited, good outdoor seating for cooler days. The restrooms were small and designed for two people. This place is south of Dallas Road outside the main Grapevine festival area on the east side of the street in a 3-story, corner wrap-around brick building.

Enjoyed a very good dinner experience with another couple. All enjoyed the entrees and appetizers. Apple Galette for dessert topped off a great dining experience. Service was attentive and courteous. Only issue was a limited wine menu. We decided to pass on wine as the few “by the glass” options weren’t appealing. Highly recommend the restaurant.

first off the waiter told us an item was priced lower than the actual price for the fish entree of the day. my trout was ordered with mushroom sauce on the side. I don't like it on the fish because it makes it soggy and the fish does not taste like fish. so they brought it with the sauce on it. took it back and took the sauce off and gave me the same piece of soggy fish, UGH!!!!! HORRIBLE. The waiter when asked for prices on a cocktail said it was either this or that, not an exact $$ amount. The entree was crab stuffed shrimp with linguine and he quoted us 33.or 34. and the wind up was over 40.00. WHOA!!! What goes on, we paid, but seriously ????? what goes on with this place all of a sudden??????? Shame on you guys. wondering whether we need to keep coming back or not.

The location is great, but parking can be an issue. I love the way the restaurant is set up between booth tables and outside eating. The Hangar stake is always my favorite with a loaded potato and side salad.

As always, every aspect of our dining experience at Mac's was excellent. The food, service and ambiance continue to make this our first choice restaurant in Grapevine. Sometimes we just drop in. On Sunday we booked a reservation for Mother's Day brunch. Glad we did, and happy to see full tables with many other diners celebrating.

Virtually no service from our server after giving us our food. Had to get up and get my own coffee and my wife got up to refill her water. Had brunch, was good except potatoes were cold.
