Chef/Owner Rena Frost’s food ranges from the familiar to the unexpected with fresh seafood, steaks, prime rib and seasonally created specials. We proudly offer Chairman Reserve and Strauss Grass Fed steaks, slow-roasted prime rib, fresh fish selections, and our Signature Mac’s Salad. We partner with local purveyors and individuals enabling us to feature specials that are seasonal and most often locally sourced from our surrounding area.
Our bar features classic cocktails, hand-crafted specialty cocktails, and wines from primarily North & South America.

first off the waiter told us an item was priced lower than the actual price for the fish entree of the day. my trout was ordered with mushroom sauce on the side. I don't like it on the fish because it makes it soggy and the fish does not taste like fish. so they brought it with the sauce on it. took it back and took the sauce off and gave me the same piece of soggy fish, UGH!!!!! HORRIBLE. The waiter when asked for prices on a cocktail said it was either this or that, not an exact $$ amount. The entree was crab stuffed shrimp with linguine and he quoted us 33.or 34. and the wind up was over 40.00. WHOA!!! What goes on, we paid, but seriously ????? what goes on with this place all of a sudden??????? Shame on you guys. wondering whether we need to keep coming back or not.

The location is great, but parking can be an issue. I love the way the restaurant is set up between booth tables and outside eating. The Hangar stake is always my favorite with a loaded potato and side salad.

As always, every aspect of our dining experience at Mac's was excellent. The food, service and ambiance continue to make this our first choice restaurant in Grapevine. Sometimes we just drop in. On Sunday we booked a reservation for Mother's Day brunch. Glad we did, and happy to see full tables with many other diners celebrating.

Virtually no service from our server after giving us our food. Had to get up and get my own coffee and my wife got up to refill her water. Had brunch, was good except potatoes were cold.

This was our first time there. The food was amazing but our service was HORRENDOUS. We sat down and waited 15 minutes for anyone to come over. Then he barely paid attention to us. Plus, this was a birthday dinner and they sat us by the swinging kitchen door. Not a great experience.

Our party of three ordered the Crispy Calimari appetizer to start. It was disappointing - chewy and supplemented with fried shrimp and onion rings. Less calimari than you would get at other restaurants and not as good. One of us got Blackened Orange Roughy which she thoroughly enjoyed. Another in our party got the Wagyu Steak Burger which she also liked. I got the Burrata and Tomato Salad and the Ahi Tuna Poke as my meal. The Burrata was delicious but lacked much of a "salad" - some arugula and a few cherry tomatoes. The Ahi was great as well, it comes in a stemmed glass with some sort of creamy tangy sauce underneath. The first wine we selected was unavailable but another bottle was there. Service was attentive.

Brunch for four, and it was amazing! We had the Mexican omelet (mine and it was incredibly fresh and tasty), migas, traditional Benedict, and southern Benedict. We were all raving about how good it was compared to another restaurant we joined for brunch a few weeks ago. We will definitely return!

Everything was fine. The waitress wasn't as attentive as we would have liked but she seemed to have a lot on her plate. The wine list is nice, plenty of choices. Not crazy about the family style salad but it worked out ok in the end. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. My husband's sweet potato fries were fabulous! My clam chowder was not good, very watery; not sure if they were trying to stretch their batch or if they purposely make a broth based chowder.

Our server, Gretchen, was incredible. She made the best recommendations. From cocktails to appetizers to main courses. It was a wonderful experience. Crabcakes, scallops, fresh baked bread, and prime rib we’re all executed with perfection

All three of us loved Mac’s. It was our first time there. The food was so delicious, including the Turtle cheesecake dessert. Our waiter - sorry I do not remember his name (young man, curly hair, very friendly and helpful) - was attentive, helpful and friendly

There is always a problem with a reservation for this restaurant. No matter how far in advance. They never get the table/booth thing right. Not sure how they work their times but always a mess. Food is delicious. Served as that particular entree, salad, soup is expected to be, well seasoned, never a problem with the food. Servers however at times present a problem. Drinks not delivered as ordered, food not delivered as ordered, fixed but what is the problem. Not listening to the order, too busy too noisy? It is corrected, but frustrating. Prices are not cheap here and a diner should expect accuracy with orders. Wait staff are always well groomed, front door people however look untidy and could neaten up their personal appearance with better grooming and more professional clothing. This place is very noisy, lots of tables and a booth is nice because you can hear what the people are saying that you are with. We've coming to this restaurant for years and the food never disappoints.

We always have better service when we sit in the front section of the restaurant. Last Saturday, we had a great meal, service and enjoyed the ambiance. Overall the value is amazing!

We went to Mac's on Main for brunch, after church; this past Sunday. Truthfully, we did even know they had brunch, as we mainly dine here during the week. We were so glad we came in, wonderful brunch menu and excellent prices. I had the Southern Egg's Benedict, but I got mine with poached eggs, instead of scrambled eggs and they were delicious. My wife got a spinach omelette while our friend got the Eggs Benedict Florentine, and she said her order was so tasteful, as well. Much to our surprise, before we got our order, we were all served a small plate of mini cinnamon rolls and fresh fruit. Another great treat from visiting this wonderful restaurant. We will continue to support this business, they do a GREAT job, whether for lunch, dinner or brunch!

We had an excellent experience at Mac’s on Main! Sydney was an excellent server with exceptional knowledge of the menu offered. The shared salad was awesome. The house dressing is light and delicious. The burger came out cooked to temperature. The Daily Fish offering was Haibut that was charbroiled to perfection. The roasted vegetables were al dente. The grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes were excellent side items. The hot fresh bread offered is procured from a neighborhood bakery…excellent.

This was our first time at Mac’s. We walked in 5 minutes prior to our reservation and were seated immediately. But there was also a no wait situation, so unsure if we really needed a reservation in the first place, but better safe than sorry. The only issue was that we sat for about 10-15 minutes before being acknowledged by a server. After our server came, she was excellent! I feel like perhaps she wasn’t supposed to be our server as the table next to us had been very demanding and seemingly unreasonable to their server (probably the person who’s section we sat in) and threw everything off. On to the food! I had the prime rib and it was probably the BEST prime rib I’ve ever had. My husband had the filet and it also was exquisite. Melted your mouth with amazing flavor. Excellent quality and reasonably priced. The ambiance was relaxed and we were able to have a conversation without having to speak up or yell. The dress code is casual, which made for an all around comfortable experience. We will go there again and again and so happy we found it!

Our experience was awesome! We traveled from Indiana to see our nephew we hadn’t seen in years. He has food allergies. Extremely close attention to detail was paid for his food needs. The quality of the food was great. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional staff. Thanks!

Prime rib was excellent. Rib eye was dry and very chewy. This was a first. Usually the best. Unlimited salad always excellent. Waitress a little uptight at first but later became very pleasant and we enjoyed her service. Disappointed they were out of the wine (Justin) that we wanted to sample. Overall experience was great. Great Experience - First Time in Grapevine. Wonderful restaurant- great food and felt like a great value vs. other locations on Main. Our server was kind and patient- four of us with an 8p reservation that took a bit of time to order. Shrimp was great, loved the family style unlimited salad option for the table. Two of our party ordered burgers and said they were great! Would highly recommend, definitely would go back! Thanks Macs team!

We decided to splurge a bit and take our granddaughter and her boyfriend to dinner. It was the perfect place to go. Great table, excellent service(as always) and quiet enough we could carry on a conversation without feeling as though we were yelling. The food was a new experience for those two and it did not disappoint!

Food was good. A birthday celebration for my wife. Seating was prompt, background music plrasant but no so loud that we needed to raise our voices to communicate. Good service, rapid but not over attentive. Good wine list. Noticed several levels of dress from extremely casual to formal.
